We were visiting DC, and the food was so good we came in a second night. The atmosphere was lovely, the staff and owner very professional and personable. Highly recommend.“

“I don’t leave reviews often. The place has to be either horrible or really good. I’ve eaten at plenty of Indian restaurants across the U.S. and if you want authentic cuisine, you must eat here.

I ordered the butter chicken curry with rice and garlic naan. That’s always my first order when I try a new Indian restaurant. The sauce alone could carry the meal. This is by far the best Indian food I’ve ever had. My first visit, and definitely not my last.“

Another diner had butter chicken and was raving at how tender the chicken was. And the samosas were wonderful. Everything at our table was a 10 out of 10. “The price is good, and the chicken was juicy with a well-done marinade. The rice was long-grain and cooked properly, which I really appreciated. I also liked that the vegetables were grilled, not just fresh — that added a nice touch.

The downside for me was the chickpeas — they didn’t seem cooked the right way and were missing the proper spices. The portion size is on the smaller side, but considering the lower price, it makes sense.

Overall, a decent spot with some strong points, just not quite perfect yet.“

I ordered from Namaste Restaurant through Uber Eats — Shrimp Biryani, Butter Chicken, and Tandoori Chicken — and everything was absolutely on point. The flavors were rich and authentic, portions were generous, and everything arrived hot and perfectly cooked. You can tell they use quality ingredients and put real care into their food. Definitely one of the best Indian meals I’ve had in a while. Highly recommend!“
