King & Rye Reviews
My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at King and Rye. It was our first time there and we were incredibly impressed. The food was delicious, the cocktails were impeccable, and our server was professional, courteous attentive but not invasive. We highly recommend it for anyone.
I really enjoyed my first visit to King & Rye! The service was phenomenal from start to finish. My server was knowledgeable and offered great wine recommendations, even providing a few tastings to help me make my final selection. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and I appreciated having the soccer match on the TVs while I dined. I ordered the fried green tomatoes, and while they were good, I would have preferred a bit more seasoning. Overall, it was a great experience,...read full review
The service was outstanding. The food was good, not knock your socks off, but I will still return. This was my first time visiting, so I want to try another dish.

King & Rye offers a limited menu with delicious food and a nice atmosphere. Prices are high but expected. Their Cheese tray is great, especially for blue cheese lovers. The food quality is mixed, with some dishes shining like the Deviled egg app, while others like the crabcake benedict have been disappointing. Recent reviews highlight the superb food, with guests raving about the amazing mussels and the perfectly cooked sirloin, seasoned just right. The restaurant's southern-inspired menu features excellent options like the blackened strip loin and must-try biscuits, while the pimento mac & cheese with added crawfish has also received praise. The atmosphere can vary from a relaxed indoor setting to a lively outdoor courtyard for brunch, and it was noted that the atmosphere was particularly lively during Restaurant Week. The staff is generally attentive and friendly, with specific servers being commended for their kindness and helpful recommendations. Despite some past issues with reservations and sudden closures, King & Rye is considered one of the better dining options in the area, making it a highly recommended spot for locals and visitors alike. Recent reviews mention a quiet outdoor setting and good food, with service that can be busy and short-staffed but still attentive. Guests enjoyed the restaurant week menu, noting hefty portions and well-presented dishes like the deviled eggs, pan seared trout, and Brussels sprouts. The atmosphere was sometimes dark near the patio, but overall, the experience was positive with great suggestions from servers and enjoyable meals.
