First time experiencing Ethiopian food, and I am so glad I did it at Elilta. My friends and I asked the owner/chef to give us whatever she recommends and we were blown away. She also offers gluten free injera for those that have intolerances. Definitely will be coming back here!
I came here on a late Saturday afternoon, not really having a good day. But I'm going home with a full belly, a happy smile and a lot of hope. The food is delicious and so is the coffee. It's just as simple as that. But the best of all - the owner here is such an amazing person. The folks here make everything with love and care (which you can definitely taste). Had the Awaze Tibes. Very succulent and tasty. Came with a side of corn meal I think it was and lots of Injera bread. Everything cooked to perfection. The owner and cook was very pleasant and accomodating. Hope to be back soon.
