Even factoring in the affordable prices, the sushi quality here is unfortunately below average (or average at most). I dropped by on a Saturday afternoon and the restaurant was completely empty. On the plus side, the service was very quick and responsive. I ordered the chirashi and the salmon platter, but both were just so-so. Honestly, this place is probably best suited for travelers passing along I-495 who just want a quick, convenient Asian meal.
Salmon special and crunch spicy salmon was great, food came out fast, good service too
I'm changing my bad review. They were extremely kind and understanding and replaced my food promptly. Great customer service:)

Red Maple Asian Cuisine and Bar offers delicious and fresh sushi, with generous portions of quality fish. The service is quick and reliable, and the restaurant provides a cozy and warm atmosphere. It has a nice variety of Chinese, Japanese, and Thai entrees in addition to sushi. Many dishes are flavorful and not overly sauced. The restaurant is easily accessible with parking available in the back. Customers often praise the sushi and desserts, though some mention that the other food may not be as impressive. The bar area is neat and cozy with friendly staff, making it a good place for Japanese food lovers to try. However, the atmosphere might feel more like a 90s club with a dark interior and bright lights, and the temperature can sometimes be uncomfortable, especially on hot days. Despite these minor issues, the overall experience is enjoyable, especially for those seeking quality sushi and a friendly environment.
