“Came here at 10 am on a Saturday morning. The small bakery was packed with people, but I was still in and out in under 10 minutes. The trays of pastries were half full and customers were walking around with piles of bread and sweets. People come here to buy in bulk.

I got a chicken sandwich and 4 pastries for $13. The sandwich was fried chicken, tomato, mozzarella, jalapenos, avocado, lettuce, tomato, carrot.

The value and flavor was great and the place has a fun atmosphere that I haven’t seen in DC. No signs so I didn’t know names or ingredients- just pick what looks good unless you already know.”

What impressed me most was how affordable everything was. you get great quality and generous portions without spending a lot of money. It's becoming harder to find restaurants that offer both excellent taste and reasonable prices, but this place does exactly that. If you're looking for a satisfying meal that won't hurt your budget, this is definitely worth a visit. I'll be coming back again!”

“Been eating here a few years now atleast once a week I always get the half chicken it never disappoints they have some of the best coleslaw I have ever tasted not to mention the yellow sauce omg so good . They have a drive thru which is a bonus for me

“I love love loveeee super Japan. When Sarku Japan closed in the mall, this became my go to place for chicken teriyaki. The staff is always helpful, very nice and the food is delicious. Plus they fill up the containers, you really get a bang for your buck. Add on that yum yum sauce and the food is just *chefs kiss*”

“Hands down the BEST bar in DC!! I’ve seen great reviews online, but the experience was even better than imagined. The place is cozy and intimate. When you walk in you immediately feel like you’re being welcomed into someone’s home. The aesthetic, the playlists 1110/10. The staff are all beyond kind and friendly. Danny immediately made us feel at home as he explained the personal story and flavors behind each drink. I cannot say enough about how great the ambience, service and drinks 110000/10. The baked Alaska is a MUST TRY. I’ve never had anything like it before and cannot describe how priceless of an experience it was. Also, you can ask for a little gato on your drink and take it home for a small adoption fee!! Can’t wait to go back again!!”

“Our waiter, Caleb, was attentive and knowledgeable. The food was delicious and the dishes were interesting and unique. We were a party of 7, sat outside and really enjoyed ourselves. The pacing of all the dishes coming out was perfect. The only downside was that there was a man with a really large dog seated right next to us and the dog barked and whined (so loudly we could not hear each other) and it smacked into our chairs repeatedly. Once the man left things improved and we had a great experience.”

“I stopped in with friends before a event Sunday evening. The staff was warm and welcoming. I had the lentil sambusas and a peanut-infused coffee at the staff’s recommendation. The food was fast and delicious- the sambusas were warm and spicy, and the peanut coffee was delicious! In a kind gesture, the chef sent over a sampling of sushi to our table. Fresh and refreshing, the sushi was a nice complement to my sambusas and hot beverage. I’m not on this side of town often, but now I have a reason to come back.”

“Amazing! The sushi tasting menu was exceptional and filling! Delicious and whimsical cocktails. Bar in the back, very hip and chic workout being pretentious. Wagyu beef skewers from the bar was one of the best things I’ve ever had. All the skewers were amazing and the fried chicken and other bar snacks are classic bar foods, but way elevated- can not wait for the rest of the space to open!”
