And she has a gem that she serves to the community. I appreciated that she gave me a moment to speak while it was slow to share the history of where she came and where her and her team are going. This is a fairly new business, has not been open for more than a year. To everyone in the community far and wide. Need to try more.Plantains - 8/10 (Everyone likes plantains different. So I'm sure they'd be a 10/10 if I'd communicated that I like them fried hard.Yuka w/meat and coleslaw- 10/10! Wow! I have never had this dish before but the flavors. The seasoning to perfection.Overall - Maria's is more than pupusas. There's some history, there are always stories, and there is plethora of food. On the weekends, this spot is said to have over 400-600 patrons that come out to enjoy the food, the atmosphere and the service. This business also does catering.(I was not paid for this review. I walked in curiously after being served old food from the sub China shop across the street and had to throw the food away. And Maria's stood out like a bright light into a new dimension. “When indecisive, go for the chefs table which includes all of the apps but also an extra tasting per course. Aside from the food which was near perfect, the ambiance is very unique outside dining in a semi enclosed courtyard, railyard bar, and dining in a lodge-like room with fireplace. Some of my favorite dishes were the veggies, surprising because I'm more of a meat eater. Cocktails were excellent but do ask the bartender since not all liquor is documented. Wine list is extensive”

“We love Oyster Mania Mondays at Pearl Dive! We make it a regular date night outing to indulge in dozens of half-priced, delicious, fresh, and cold oysters sourced from various locations. Additionally, I always order the incredibly tasty mussels served with toasted baguette slices to soak up all that delicious sauce. The staff consistently delivers friendly and attentive service too, which makes each visit enjoyable.”

“Really delicious and awesome vibe! This is a creative Asian place where I would say noodles are their forte. The area is really small and cozy, with great decor. They only seat about 20 people at a time in their space, so I would reserve or come early. We came as they opened and were seated as a party of 5.For food, LOVE the brontosaurus! The broth is excellent and rich but too too rich, nicely smoked ribs, excellent selection of side veggies and the noodles had a great texture. The noodles in the mazemans were the same noodles as the brontosaurus, but the mazeman has no broth and so I prefer the brontosaurus. The ribs in the brontosaurus could’ve been more tender but I still loved it overall! Pork buns were good as well. Beautiful presentation and great taste on all! And nice edgy underground atmosphere/decor and reasonable prices.Vegetarian options: Mushroom ramen”

We got the tasting menu to try a bunch of dishes and overall thought the food was still similar to Mediterranean/Middle-Eastern food I’ve had before but with a unique twist on the vegetable dishes.My favorites were the cauliflower hash (reminded me a lot of Gujarati shaak that I ate growing up) and the halloumi + muhmmara dips. Unfortunately, I thought all the cocktails were very mid, so I wouldn’t recommend drinks there unless it’s something you already know.”

“Had dinner before the Oh He Dead concert on Saturday December 17, 2022. We arrived a little before our seating and immediately were greeted and taken to our spots. Ian was outstanding! He was attentive, descriptive and helped create a good experience. Dan, our bartender, was magnificent. He created delectable cocktails and we also chatted along the way (we had bar seats which I highly recommend). This was very reasonably priced, we left very filled and happy. I want to give the highest possible compliments to Ian and Dan. The entire experience was perfect, largely because of the great food, but they took the experience well beyond a 1 star evening!”

The interior is very confusing and crowded and the restaurant decor doesn’t really make sense, the fried chicken was very good and unique so was the scallion pancake however, the pho really didn’t have any flavor and they were using chicken stock for some reason so it didn’t really have much flavor.”
