My first time being to this restaurant although I have been experienced in Ethiopian food many times before and my family is also from there , when I first sat down, I wanted a beef sambusa but was guided to chicken wings instead and I did feel a bit offended as a black woman, it seemed as though the server (who I assume is her daughter) just assumed maybe I didn’t know anything about their food but I still thought it was a little rude but kept dining in.

My first experience having Ethiopian food, was absolutely delicious!
If you want authentic Ethiopian food and a true Ethiopian vibe/experience, this is the place to go. The food was AMAZING. I’m vegan and had no problem getting a delicious meal off the menu. My husband got the lamb and he didn’t leave even a drop of onion on the plate! The service was more than awesome. The woman that greeted us treated us as friends visiting her home. Everyone that walked in who worked there greeted us with smiles. We would DEFINITELY come back...read full review
