The best and only authentic Soul Food in Silver Spring! The food is amazing, the price is fair and reasonable, and above all every team member there are so welcoming. It's great to go somewhere, where you don't need a reservation. Just a nice traditional hole in the wall comfort Soul Food. Please note: the fish sandwich, fried fish and all the sides will have you walking on air!

The food is a highlight, with popular dishes like cabbage and greens, mac and cheese, and fried chicken wings all receiving high praise. Chef Johnny's hospitality and expertise in recommending menu items make every visit feel like coming home. This place is hard to find and glad customers came across it. The fried shrimp was scrumptious, and the yams and mac and cheese put the icing on top. Customers have ordered catfish, collards, rice w/gravy and sweet potato pie. All the employees are super nice and looking forward to helping you. They don't shy away from explaining the menu if you have questions. The music and smell when you walk in makes it a very comfortable experience if you want to dine in. Definitely coming back to try the ribs.
