“Kudos to the staff for welcoming a small group of hikers smack in the middle of a busy time of day for them. The staff were gracious and welcoming, took care of us, and we were pleased to be served generous portions of food 🙌🏽 I lived in Maryland once upon a time and was unaware of a Maryland style pizza so I had to do a “tastebud investigation” I ordered a small pizza with all meat toppings and sipped on a John Daly (the grown folk’s Arnold Palmer). Let me tell you something 🤩 their small size pizza is what I’d call a medium where it can feed 2 people easily. The fresh and abundant toppings were insanely tasty. I was so full but kept eating because the food and drinks were on point 😘 In the end I lost at eating more that I ended up bringing much of it home to eat later. Did I mention they had TVs with different sports tuned in?? I noticed them but I was sooo into eating I figured I should end on that note.“

“Cool concept it’s like +6 kitchens in 1. They offer a lot of different promos on social media. From Alana pizza, I ordered the burrata and the bacon pesto pizza. The burrata was really fresh and I enjoyed the pesto pizza. From Di Fara pizza, I ordered the pepperoni, sausage and meatball pizza. Not sure if it was dough or the pizza was undercooked, but I wish there was more of a crisp to the crust. I found myself chewing longer than expected.

Location was really clean and ordering via the app was easy. There’s plenty of street parking around the shopping center. Prices are high for the area. I would definitely be back to try some of the other restaurants.“

“Nice family time out for dinner and the waiter was so kind and funny. Definitely has a spunk personality. Only downside is that there isn’t a hostess up front, so you’ll have to wait a bit before you can get seated but overall it’s nice and the food comes out hot and fresh. “I came into 5i Iron service was great. Met Chef Floyd the food that we ordered was delicious very unexpected from a golf simulator/restaurant establishment. The pot stickers were crispy and very delicious which ever sauce Floyd made was definitely made with love. The wings where very good my son and husband enjoyed them wasn’t too much sauce just enough. We will definitely return. Also Jordan was very courteous and helped treated us like family. Thank you Jordan & Chef Floyd it was a great experience. We will definitely be returning !!!!!!!!“

“My son and I had a great time at Bulldog, grabbing a pizza after a Nationals game. Pizza was excellent, good beer selection and plenty of different games on during a busy Saturday of football.
What set our visit apart came later -- my son accidentally left a bag with his prized baseball glove, and a foul ball he caught at the game sitting under our table after we ate and left. I didn't realize it until the next day when we were flying out of town. I reached out to Bulldog's staff and manager Moe confirmed he'd found the bag under the table. Without time to get the bag from the bar, Moe took time out of his day off to ship our stuff back to us at home, going out of his way to make sure my son was able to get his baseball glove back (very important to a 12-year-old baseball superfan). The above and beyond response speaks volumes about the staff here, and I'm thankful for the extra effort!“

We had a couple of great conversations as he whipped around making sure all the patrons were taken care. He also gave me a handful of places to eat during my stay in DC. Just visited this new Ethiopian restaurant and was blown away! They serve fresh meat just like back home—raw, tender, and perfectly seasoned. It’s hard to find this kind of quality and authenticity around here. The service was excellent, and the team made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. No complicated menu—just amazing food done right. If you know good Ethiopian cuisine, this spot is going to be one of the best in the area. Highly recommend!“

“We recently visited Focus Social Club for the dinner reservation experience, and overall, we had a great time.

First, the space is absolutely beautiful. I love exposed pipework and brick walls, and this place nailed the aesthetic. The decor gives off an upscale industrial vibe that's both stylish and inviting.

We had a large party, and we were seated right away. Our server was amazing—friendly, attentive, and incredibly patient with our group throughout the evening.

Now let's talk about the food. Everything we ordered was delicious, including the spinach dip, firecracker shrimp, lamb chops, teriyaki salmon, platters, and Philly cheesesteak egg rolls. But the star of the night was hands down the vegetable fried rice. I don't know what magic they put in that rice, but it was perfectly cooked, well-seasoned, and so good that we started ordering extra sides just to eat by themselves!

The drinks were also mixed perfectly and complemented the meal well.

One thing to note: this is not a budget-friendly spot. Be prepared to spend a little money, as even a couple of items can add up quickly.

As the evening progressed, it became clear that the venue caters to a younger crowd, especially once the DJ arrived and the nightlife atmosphere kicked in. We definitely noticed the shift in energy. While we may not have been the target demographic, we still enjoyed the early-evening vibe, great conversation, delicious food, and excellent service before heading back to our hotels.

If you're looking for a beautiful space, great food, good drinks, and a lively atmosphere, Focus Social Club is worth checking out. My advice: go earlier in the evening if you want a more relaxed dining experience before the nightlife crowd arrives. 💜“
