I was reluctant on going inside to actually order something I normally order from different places .. but long story short, after reading a comment/review on how GREAT/SUPERB the Shrimp Egg Foo Young is at this place I got interested and had to try it out for myself .. and I'm not gonna lie that person that left that review DID NOT LIE LMAO .. it lives up to its reputation 🔥💯😋 .. I will most DEFINITELY be back to order it again .. this place makes it the best in this area of the DMV and ive tried Shrimp Egg Foo Young from a lot of different places in the DMV area and its been awhile since ive tried one that tastes as good and traditional as this one .. when i took a first bite i immediately had a flashback to when I was a kid and my mom used to buy this and share with me and my sister .. where she got it from then idk but i digress .. but yeah man definitely go shop with them and get the Shrimp Egg Foo Young .. its delicious .. i wish i wouldve took pictures but it was so good i wasnt even thinking .. before i knew it, there was nothing left lmao .. but anyway last thing i wanna say is .. if a Chinese Carryout only has one size for something they are selling that most of the time means its bomb dot com haha ! “I haven't eaten from here in a long time but I decided to make an order threw Doordash and I'm so glad I did. My food was delicious. I ordered the Honey sesame chicken and Grilled teriyaki chicken with white rice Everything was hot and fresh. I even got a fortune cookie. On top of that the price was very affordable.“

We had an incredible dining experience here and sat at the chef's counter, which provided a fantastic view of the kitchen performing their craft. The entire operation is organized, smooth, and highly impressive to watch.
The food and drinks were outstanding:
• Duck Drunken Noodles: Perfectly spiced! The heat provided a beautiful warmth that highlighted the flavors rather than just kicking your butt for the sake of being spicy.
• Ginger Dumplings: Absolutely delicious.
• Plum Boulevardier: A lovely, well-crafted cocktail.
• Lychee Martini: My friend ordered this and completely loved it.
The service really made the night. All of the servers were welcoming and knowledgeable, creating a wonderful dining atmosphere. We were especially blessed to be taken care of by Eli and Monica. They were wonderful hosts who were incredibly complimentary to both myself and my companion.
Even the smaller details were great—the restrooms are single units that provide plenty of privacy, featuring a sleek black decor that is exceptionally well-maintained.

“I've only ever had great experiences here. By myself, with friends, on a date, dine-in, takeout, delivery, everything's been great and consistently so. Food and drinks are always prepared within reasonable time-frame and staff are incredibly pleasant, making sure you're taken care of without rushing.

It's a very clean and comfortable space--simple and welcoming, and there are lots of ways to order inside (kiosk, counter, through a waiter, via your phone) which makes it all the more impressive how efficiently orders are completed.

I also deeply appreciate that it has some of the best acoustics of all the dining locations on 14th Street. (I can actually hear people sitting directly across from me without them having to yell over other patrons or obnoxious music!)“

“This is a smaller Chinese restaurant in Chinatown that serves a good variety of dishes. We had the soup dumplings (solid), shumai (very good), and pork congee (a little bland). The service was friendly and the price was cheaper than average.“

“We've been eating here for over 20 years and it has always been good. It is recently under new management and the way some items are prepared has changed, but still very tasty -- just a new twist on an old favorite. The one thing the new management needs is someone who knows their way around a bar. The people there this week had a very limited range of knowledge about drinks (gin on the rocks got a blank look), but once you explained they happily made a very acceptable drink.“

I feel like you could bring friends and family to this restaurant and just have shareable as the plate seem pretty large. I did bring my six month old baby and our stroller which I wouldn’t do again lol it’s pretty tight in there, but it was still enjoyable. They have a lot of fun drinks that atmosphere feels really cool when you go after 4:00 PM. The staff is really nice and I can tell each item you order is being made fresh. It took about 20 minutes to get my food. I will say the restaurant was busy inside and out and like I said it’s pretty small so they were moving as fast as they could and I wasn’t in a rush. At first, I thought this was going to be fast casual, but it’s really like a cocktail bar with really yummy food. Giving you still that restaurant experience. I wasn’t expecting it to be in College Park so happy I found it. Definitely get the fried dumplings. They were out of this world. And technically I ordered the dish that’s called spicy pork broth, but I didn’t get it spicy because I shared it with my six month old who also absolutely loved it.
I also got two drinks. They were delicious cocktails I got one called Berry Bizz (which is a sweet high ball drink), and the one pictured which is technically called citrus something but instead of orange juice, I asked them to fill it up with cranberry juice. Overall, I would say I wouldn’t bring more than one baby lol, I wouldn’t bring a stroller, and I would definitely use this as a fun cocktail night for a date night, with your bestie, or with your family. Also, my bill was high, but if you remove my drinks, you could go there and technically spend $10-$20.“

John was really helpful and walked us through the different menus and the self-ordering setup. I liked that you can order from multiple restaurants all in one place, which makes it perfect for indecisive groups or people who all want different things. “It’s a takeout restaurant with no seating. The ordering area is clean and well lit.
The customer service is really really good. They talk to you respectfully on the phone, which I really appreciate.
I ordered shrimp and broccoli as well as orange chicken and I really liked both. The shrimp are big and juicy and they give you a good portion. The broccoli is crisp and fresh, I actually ordered twice in a week. The fried rice is okay, I’ll ask for eggs and veggies in it next time.
They also have decent prices!!
I’m very picky when it comes to Chinese food, and they are yet to disappoint me.

“Stopped in for lunch and decided to dine in since location had plenty of tables and were clean. Location was convenient, staff was friendly and polite. Ordered a lunch special Triple Delight with fried rice and a small combination Lo-Mein. Service was quick, portions were a very good size and each entree was cooked perfectly and tasted great. A egg role came with the lunch special. It had a perfect crisp and the taste was okay.

“This has become my go to for delivery. If you get delivery go to the website (yes, website, not Uber eats or some other rip-off delivery app) and order there. Prices will be better and the restaurant doesn't lose such a big cut. Considering it's not that close (I'm near Dupont circle), delivery is usually pretty snappy. Plus, theyre open a lot later than most places in range. Like every place, there's things they do well, and things they do ok. I love the chairman pork, the eggplant, and the crispy beef (it's basically candied steak which you won't hear me complain about). The general tsos/orange chicken is good and not too over-battered; not their best dishes but great for the price. I thought the soup dumplings were good too, and the ma po tofu had good flavor if slightly silkier tofu than I'm used to. The quality is good all around. I order from here more than I can afford and I never feel bad as a result of doing so. The complaints on here are kinda dumb imo, people upset that their favorite dish isn't just the way *they* like it, or that it's a take-away/delivery only place (I'm cracking up over the woman who walks into a place called Shanghai Dumpling and tries to order fries). I think the quality for the price is great, there's some things on the menu you can't get anywhere else, which is awesome, and having ordered dozens of times I have had one or two things I wasn't a fan of but never had an order mistake, a late delivery, or any service issues.
