This place never fails to give what is expected. We all know that going into a Chinese carry out is no gourmet dining experience. But this place reliably delivers tried and true Americanized Chinese food that tastes good and is readily identifiable. I'm taking a break from meat and the vegetable fried rice and broccoli in brown sauce did not disappoint. Neither did the veggie spring rolls.
Old faithful. I didn't grow up going to Peter's far east coast soul food. But I have come to appreciate the consistency that they present in their traditional DMV carry out over the last 15 plus years. Their are plenty of spots to pick from. But if you in that Largo/upper Marlboro'ish area - do yourself a favor and stop in there. After living in Jersey, Massachusetts and LA I have come to under that there is Chinese food and Carry Out. Wow! We got lo mein, chicken wings and mixed vegetables. Lo mein tastes like it did in the 90's. Last year, I had a sub. This is one establishment where the flavors never change. If you are familiar with the area, then you know what I'm talking about.
