“This place was recommended and I am so glad we tried it. Healthy food. So many options. I ordered the Jerk Mango Salad. I didn’t change a thing and wouldn’t. Perfect kick without being too spicy. Mango salsa was the best I’ve had. We also ordered the BBQ bowl. I wouldn’t change a thing in it. Try the Red Rice. It’s really good. Staff was quick, explained the menu and ordering process and also offered a taste of you weren’t sure you’d like something. 10/10. I’ll be back again.”

“Hubby and I had dinner here and the food was great! Lovely atmosphere, decor, music ... small, quaint yet elegant and chic. Service was wonderful, food came fast. Hubby had the Cajun Crab and Shrimp sandwich and I had the Salmon sandwich ... both served with their delicious fries. I can't eat MSG and most places say it's already in the sauce. I asked, when I first started going here ,if they could omit the MSG and was told of course they can prepare my food without it. Or she would say things like 'Good Morning, I see you came inside today?', which are surely just the little things but they make you feel unique and cared for which is often missing nowadays in food service.

Also, despite nearly always coming in before 6AM, the bathrooms were always clean, the food was always fresh, and you're always greeted upon walking in too! They also provide chargers and outlets with their indoor seating to sit and work or do whatever as needed, with in store WiFi if needed.”

“it was so skibidi here! when i went, mr beast himself popped out of my burger and summoned the 67 ohio sigma rizzler to give me $5000 dollars! i also got a complementary toe rub from mr beast. then we all had an aura rizz party. it was so mystical and magical, we were doing the whip, the nae nae, and hitting the quan too. even my grandma joined in. mr beast burger changed my life. i met my wife and kids there too and got a 2 story home in the suburbs with a little treehouse for my hamsters. 10/10 experience. thank you mr beast for bringing this experience to my skibidi little life.”

“This is my go to spot for Chinese food. Because they only do takeout, the restaurant could use a good strong cleaning and updates. Rug and walls need some help, but the food, service and speed are great.”

“I took a chance on ordering online from Island Taste even though there's no signage on the restaurant yet and it had no reviews, and I'm glad I did! I ordered the jerk chicken dinner with rice & peas and Mac and cheese. I added a side of plantains and I got a free beef patty. Everything was excellent. The beef patty is spicy, which I like.

The jerk chicken is tender and marinated in jerk seasoning with a jerk BBQ sauce. The jerk chicken is also spicy but not the kind where it is overpowering.

The Mac and cheese is really good. The rice and peas are good, but given that the the dinner comes with 2 sides, next time I would choose Mac and cheese and plantains.

The portions are generous, especially the chicken so you can share or have leftovers. I will definitely be returning again. If they add a jerk chicken wrap that would be the icing on the cake.

PS- It doesn't look like you could just walk up to restaurant and order, but I ordered online and picked it up with no issue. I got a text with the pickup window time and when the order was ready. When I arrived I knocked on the door and the food was brought right to the door.”

My only complaint was that the order taker would sometimes try to assist the short order cooks in between orders, but he never wiped his hands or put on gloves after handling the register, which I'm sure hasn't been cleaned in years.
