“Stopped at Charley's. The food was okay, not really as tasty as the usual Charley's. The staff was courteous but a bit confused because their communication was off.”

“The coffee was great, the vibes were nice, and the staff were kind. The employees of the Starbucks seem to be the only employees in the clinic that actually care about their job.”
“Raye this with other Burger Kings and not restaurants overall, and we have a winner here. Currently (1/24/24) under improvement construction, but still serving up great fast food and stellar service.”
“The food tasted fresh and the place appeared clean. I was a bit disappointed that the clerk did not listen (twice) to my order and made the wrong sandwich even after I tried to let her know. Hopefully, this was an isolated incident.”
“I've always enjoyed Panda with the different flavors. I like lo mein noodles and fried rice with General Tso's or Orange Chicken. Can't go wrong with any choice.”
“I eat here a lot since I work close by. I got to say their customer service is always great and they keep the place clean consistently. Prices are affordable and they serve sizeable portions.”
“I enjoy coming here because the staff is friendly and helpful. I'm sick of hearing people complain that they don't get their food when they want it or that it's free. The manager, Alicia, and Kalif always make sure my food and smoothies are fresh and delicious, and they work really hard, especially during lunch rush.”
“There are two Starbucks on JBA that I am aware of. I Normally visit the location inside the medical center, but sometimes I also go to this location inside the Base Exchange. The drinks are always satisfying. I do admit that sometimes the service is a little off, but hey, we are all human so I try to just be kind and give people a break. This location can get very busy in the morning and at lunch; so just be aware. Overall, I've always had a good experience. Thanks.”
“Unconventional, maybe.Unbelievable, definitely!Seldom do patrons RAVE about a lunch experience but this was anUnmatched culinary experience.Yes service, food and vibe wasUnconventionalUnbelievable andUnmatchedPut this diner on your bucket list.Ken Rosen”
“Food was great, and service was good. We sat in the dining room this time. Next time will seat in the bar lounge area. Menu prices are reasonable and you bring in bottles not on list for $35 corkage fee.”
“Really delicious and awesome vibe! This is a creative Asian place where I would say noodles are their forte. The area is really small and cozy, with great decor. They only seat about 20 people at a time in their space, so I would reserve or come early. We came as they opened and were seated as a party of 5.For food, LOVE the brontosaurus! The broth is excellent and rich but too too rich, nicely smoked ribs, excellent selection of side veggies and the noodles had a great texture. The noodles in the mazemans were the same noodles as the brontosaurus, but the mazeman has no broth and so I prefer the brontosaurus. The ribs in the brontosaurus could’ve been more tender but I still loved it overall! Pork buns were good as well. Beautiful presentation and great taste on all! And nice edgy underground atmosphere/decor and reasonable prices.Vegetarian options: Mushroom ramen”
“One of the better dining experiences I’ve had in DC - of any type of cuisine. Solid cocktails, very good service, delicious and incredibly inspired menu. Excited to go back.”
“An interesting culinary experience. You MUST visit and I suggest the gigantic shrimp, as well as the short rib tacos. The service was to die for and all at an affordable price point. Well done, dLeña!!!”
“The food was fantastic! The service was fantasticOverall a fantastic experience. We had a awesome time dining with Rose's the staff was very nice and very accommodating to our dietary restrictions. We also received various items that we off the menu that were excellent. And they gave us a treat to take home. I would definitely recommend Roses, P&P, and Little Pearl. Trust me, they won't let you down.”
“food was very inventive and good, but it was lacking on actual depth of any type of flavor. The service was quite good though we had to wait five minutes to actually be seated because the there was only one person seating people. The interior is very confusing and crowded and the restaurant decor doesn’t really make sense, the fried chicken was very good and unique so was the scallion pancake however, the pho really didn’t have any flavor and they were using chicken stock for some reason so it didn’t really have much flavor.”

“It was fabulous! I loved how much thought went into the meal and the whole place showed the care and love behind the creations. The food and service were spectacular!”
“A friend and I were just walking around DC and stumbled upon this restaurant. The decor was the first thing that got us. Once we got inside the warm welcome and smiles caused us to stay. We were given complimentary butternut squash soup, it was delicious! I ordered the Seven Reasons ceviche and I loved it! The purple sweet potato and crunchy pops of quinoa really stood out. Also, I got the Tropical Aperol Spritz cocktail, it was refreshing. The atmosphere was welcoming and friendly staff was an added bonus. This was my first and I'll definitely visit again during my next trip to Washington DC.”
“Orders are placed via phone or you can order at the counter but the tip defaults to 22%. I’m a generous tipper but am annoyed at this, esp when our server didn’t return with sugar after being asked for it or to check up on us. Otherwise, it’s a very cozy place.”
“I had Ethiopian cuisine on my bucket list for real long time, but since I couldn't find much time to visit any Ethiopian restaurant in New York city, I decided to go ahead with the one in Washington DC!Initially, I was a bit hesitant to order the meat dishes since my last adventure with African cuisine wasn't a great one. Glad that Ethiopians have a good amount of vegetables in their diet which helped me make a safe and easy choice to go with!I went ahead with their traditional veggie platter, which consisted of 2 vegetables, 2 lentil dishes and a salad served over Injera( basically the Ethiopian version of dosa: An Indian dish and a much softer one instead of crispy). The vegetables served were cluster beans along with cabbage and potato. The cluster beans felt right out of my home kitchen whereas the potato was undercooked in the cabbage one! The two lentil dishes served out of which one was the spicy one and the other not spicy. I loved both of them. Honestly, I never thought it would be so close to traditional Indian cuisine as a result I also let the server know the same. The server was pretty friendly and was happy to guide me through their menu while providing quick service. The restaurant though feels like a homely vibe with close seating and the ambiance being that of a family home.Overall, an amazing experience for me with interesting thing being it felt like having a home cooked meal rather than eating at a restaurant!”
“Such an excellent restaurant. Went for dinner and truly was impressed with the authentic Mexican cuisine. Great place to order multiple small plates. Awesome atmosphere and excellent service. Recommend getting a reservation as this place can have a long wait! Would come here over and over again!”
“Sami's hot dogs is a must when visiting DC. Hot dog had onions, jalapenos, chili, ketchup and mustard. We got the spicy sausage which gave it an extra kick. Also it's located in a convenient location across from a little park with lots of sitting, and they do take card for payment. Sami was also super friendly. Will come here again when visiting DC”
“Amazing service, food, presentation, libations, decor, comfort, on and on. From 1st picture my welcome cocktail all the way to final cocktail and wine in between 2nd picture to 1st course caviar bigger purse with no silverware 3rd picture to 2nd to last course truffle ice cream with all the toppings, including caviar My words don’t do this dining event Justice. Oh, and when I got back to the hotel, I found an incredible burger in a box that I carried back to the hotel without opening. That was breakfast! Will be back.”
“Believe the hype, this place is outstanding. Service was impeccable and the omakasi was delicious. Yes, this place is expensive and yes it's worth it. They have a fantastic wine list and very knowledgeable staff. Get your reservation in now as it is very popular and it is fairly small.”
“I thought that for the price, the food and service were very good. I appreciated that they were able to accommodate a walk-in for weekend brunch. The hostess was very polite and the servers were very attentive. The restaurant was very clean, including the bathrooms which were very nice compared to a lot of restaurants in DC. For a restaurant I had not heard of prior to visiting, I was pleasantly surprised!”
“Came here once by chance, and ended up daydreaming about the food for another month until I could make it back. Super clean and great service too. Best spring rolls I've ever had. Crab Rangoons were big and delightful. Great Thai tea with a beautiful color. Banana egg rolls so fun to eat with an amazing fragrance, and the Bulgogi Sandwich was so savory and huge. The portions on everything are beyond fair (I couldn't even close my sandwich box). Service had awesome attitude. 6 stars if I could?”
