“This place was recommended and I am so glad we tried it. Healthy food. So many options. I ordered the Jerk Mango Salad. I didn’t change a thing and wouldn’t. Perfect kick without being too spicy. Mango salsa was the best I’ve had. We also ordered the BBQ bowl. I wouldn’t change a thing in it. Try the Red Rice. It’s really good. Staff was quick, explained the menu and ordering process and also offered a taste of you weren’t sure you’d like something. 10/10. I’ll be back again.“

The garden salad came with LOTS of toppings - lettuce, tomatoes, onions, green peppers, jalapenos, cheese, olives, and banana peppers; too many toppings for me, I should have edited them down. I also ordered steamed vegetables, which were not actually steamed but cooked on the grill top. Although they were frozen veggies, I liked them. Lastly, I ordered the whole wings with the Bomb seasoning. They were fried, so that was a treat. The wings were fried VERY hard and almost too crispy. All in all, it was more food than I could eat and I was satisfied. I would go back. Next time, I'm trying some fish.“

However, the cashier was nice enough to notify the manager and the manager gave me a discount after I showed him my email with the rewards information. “Just under a month ago my husband and I had another shabby experience at the OG in Ritchie Station. I was starting to lose faith in one of my favorite Darden restaurants. We wanted to retry to have this experience again at another location which is about the same distance from our home which was in Bowie Town Centre.
I hate to speculate Bowie vs Capital Heights 😒 but sorry Ritchie Station you've loss me ✌🏾. Thanks Bowie, OG for reviving our experience and love for OG food and service 🥰🤗“

“Hands down my favorite place in the area. The team working is always so nice. Order is always right whether online or waiting in line. The ladies working are always doing literally something.

There are tons of options giving tons of variety based on dietary preferences or restrictions.“

“Excellent food and service! Managers were present and constantly roaming to ensure customers were being taken care of. Food came out quickly and hot, even though we were a party of 11 and at least 2 other large groups were also there at the same time. They were accommodating our extra breads breadstick requests and sent us home with a huge pile of chilled Andes mints :)“

“Good Food, clean restaurant. Not Fast, but that is because it is real food that is actually cooked. Not fake reheated food Fast Food places. Fry quality is very inconsistent here. I noticed lots of complaints about the prices, but those complaints are false. The prices here are good & fair. Literally if they go to the McDonald's across the street & get a meal, it costs about the same as a meal here. The food is actually good here & real food. So the people complaining about the prices don't know what they're talking about.

As for some real complaints: I Once caught employee open mouth coughing over the onions while preparing them, but that was more than a year ago, she is long gone from here now, I have not noticed such issues since. But that did make me very paranoid so I have only been here a few times ever since.“
