I asked for the Meal of Misfortune the new Wednesday Netflix special meal. She gave me the total I paid at the window she asked me to pull up to the cross walk I waited all of what felt like 1min she brought the food out bing bam thank you ma'am. “My friend and I arrived for brunch earlier today, and our experience was outstanding! We both enjoyed our meals tremendously. The serving size was such that we both had enough left over for the next day. Our servers, Jamari and Jamaal were top notch. They provided us with a balance of dedicated service without being overbearing. I definitely plan a return visit. Hopefully, I'll get the same servers, although from what I observed, all of the servers were excellent!”

TikTok search sent me to Vigilante Coffee in Hyattsville and it did not disappoint. The coffee was so good I literally had to order a second one. 🤭 The service was very welcoming, the kind of place you’re glad you stumbled across.

Despite that, the staff welcomed us warmly and still decided to serve us without hesitation. They made everything fresh, and the service was excellent from start to finish. “This place was recommended and I am so glad we tried it. Healthy food. So many options. I ordered the Jerk Mango Salad. I didn’t change a thing and wouldn’t. Perfect kick without being too spicy. Mango salsa was the best I’ve had. We also ordered the BBQ bowl. I wouldn’t change a thing in it. Try the Red Rice. It’s really good. Staff was quick, explained the menu and ordering process and also offered a taste of you weren’t sure you’d like something. 10/10. I’ll be back again.”

However, the food was flavorful and delicious (aloo palak, lamb tikka kabobs, garlic naan), and the staff were wonderfully kind and caring. The food is superb and extremely fresh. It is made to order which is also a great perk. Every single ingredient tasted farm-fresh and full of deep flavor.

The owner is very kind, fast, and very attentive. He really does go beyond the call of duty in making you feel relaxed and right at home at the restaurant.

The soft lighting and cozy, rustic decor also creates a warm and inviting vibe.

“Yesterday was my first time there, myself and a party of five. One member of our party arrived and had the table reserve the wait was 30 minutes, took that long for the rest of us to arrive; when we did we were seated rather fast. The crab bomb stole the show, best any of us ever had. Second runner up the crab soup also the baked potatoe was well portioned and was not dried out. The haddock was fried to perfection, and the cake dessert oh my, I ordered dessert to go, When I later dugged into the lemon pound cake each morsel was delicious, as if it was home made. Over all an excellent dining experience, a little pricey but was worth every single dime, we will return.”

“My Family and I stopped here because we love Greek food and heard this was authentic Greek food. First thing I tried was the calamari appetizer, as we are from Louisiana and love our seafood. The calamari hands down was the best I have ever had. The texture, the flavor, everything about it was fantastic. You can get that kind of quality in a 5 Star restaurant. Next home made fry’s, absolutely delicious. Don’t left me forget the Spanakopita, first time hearing it and eating and also fell in love with it. I had the Big Fat Gyro lamb, as well as my son and wife. Again another fantastic dish. Full of flavor and the size of these are huge so you’re getting a great deal. My wife also order a platter of Souvlaki and a Gyro platter as well for us to try. Completely delicious. Hands down such a great place. I will definitely be coming back my next trip.
