“I've been to this restaurant twice in the past week. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. They all Have amazing energy and truly make you feel welcomed. Ms Keisha is my absolute favorite. There are about 6 tables for you to dine in if you choose to. Both times I ordered my food to go. The restaurant is very clean... from the windows, door, floor, counter, etc. They have so many items to choose from whether you go for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Now the food!!!!! ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!! My first time I went I tried the pork ribs, Mac n cheese, and yams. The second time I tried the turkey wings, cabbage, and potato salad. I enjoyed it all!!!!! I told them they will be seeing me a lot more!”

“This place brings back so many memories for me. As a young girl my dad would take me here for our lunches. It's been many years since I had them and today I decided to give them a try. I was disappointed that the Dine-In side of the restaurant was closed. I guess due to Covid they never opened the dine in area back up? The prices are To be expected. The wait time is standard 10-15mins . But most importantly the food is still good! Mad flavor, pipping f'in hot, good ole classic Chinese food.”

“This was my second time here. I got the bbq jerk wings, curry chicken and a garden salad. Everything was good and flavorful. Portions are well worth the price point. I will say when someone takes your order they start preparing your food so if you are next in line they are aware just be patient they are going to take care of you just the same and get you out the door pretty quick.Vegetarian options: Tofu and a few vegetarian dishes”

“Really delicious and awesome vibe! This is a creative Asian place where I would say noodles are their forte. The area is really small and cozy, with great decor. They only seat about 20 people at a time in their space, so I would reserve or come early. We came as they opened and were seated as a party of 5.For food, LOVE the brontosaurus! The broth is excellent and rich but too too rich, nicely smoked ribs, excellent selection of side veggies and the noodles had a great texture. The noodles in the mazemans were the same noodles as the brontosaurus, but the mazeman has no broth and so I prefer the brontosaurus. The ribs in the brontosaurus could’ve been more tender but I still loved it overall! Pork buns were good as well. Beautiful presentation and great taste on all! And nice edgy underground atmosphere/decor and reasonable prices.Vegetarian options: Mushroom ramen”

“food was very inventive and good, but it was lacking on actual depth of any type of flavor. The service was quite good though we had to wait five minutes to actually be seated because the there was only one person seating people. The interior is very confusing and crowded and the restaurant decor doesn’t really make sense, the fried chicken was very good and unique so was the scallion pancake however, the pho really didn’t have any flavor and they were using chicken stock for some reason so it didn’t really have much flavor.”

“Orders are placed via phone or you can order at the counter but the tip defaults to 22%. I’m a generous tipper but am annoyed at this, esp when our server didn’t return with sugar after being asked for it or to check up on us. Otherwise, it’s a very cozy place.”

“Sami's hot dogs is a must when visiting DC. Hot dog had onions,jalapenos,chili,ketchup and mustard. We got the spicy sausage which gave it an extra kick. Also it's located in a convenient location across from a little park with lots of sitting, and they do take card for payment. Sami was also super friendly. Will come here again when visiting DC”

From 1st picture my welcome cocktail all the way to final cocktail and wine in between 2nd picture to 1st course caviar bigger purse with no silverware 3rd picture to 2nd to last course truffle ice cream with all the toppings, including caviar My words don’t do this dining event Justice. Oh, and when I got back to the hotel, I found an incredible burger in a box that I carried back to the hotel without opening. That was breakfast! Will be back.”

My son has a love for Indian food ever since his trip to India. I have never tried Indian food ever. So this was my very first experience. From the moment we walked in the door our amazing experience began. The atmosphere is beautiful and so is the staff. Our server, April was super helpful and very knowledgeable. She has an amazing spirit and is wonderful with her job! The food... was very fresh, aromatic and DELICIOUS!! My son said the food was the closest to the food in India that he has had here in the states. For my first time... OMG!!! I am HOOKED! The only bad part is that I have to go back to Florida and wait impatiently for my next visit.”

“5 out of 5 stars, this three story restaurant is interestingly unnoticeable but I’m glad I was invited here to experience it. It sits next to an open air lot which is definitely needed on H St. The food was amazing, I had the sea bass, plantains, salad, and cassava fries (can’t remember what they were called) and everything was so good. The staff was efficient and friendly and the chef came out to speak with us and it amazing to see that he’s native DC and young he is. I definitely recommend this place for dinner. I wish I paused to take pictures but maybe next time.”

“my boyfriend and I stumbled across this restaurant looking for dinner on our way home. This place was AWESOME!! A little pricey, but for all you can eat and two hours it's definitely worth it. Our favorites were the Goulash and Meat Pie. If we ever come back to DC we will definitely be stopping back.”

The noodles were probably the most flavorful curry Ive had in a long time, I just wish there was a tiny bit more noodles and protein, but it was great either way. For happy hours, I had tortilla de patatas, jamon serrano, gambas al ajillo... all were delicious and fresh! The gambas had some extra charred garlic that I enjoyed putting on bread with some of the delicious olive oil that was in the dish. The brunch was stunning and was a great addition to our day at Eastern Market! Some highlights were house made ravioli that were to die for, white sangria, croquetas... It's right around the corner from the main strip of Eastern Market on Penn Ave. so a bit hidden but worth a try!”
