The southwest bowl is fantastic!!! Add some avocado, and you’ll be very happy!

New Deal Cafe is a unique community space with a rich history from the New Deal era. The atmosphere is welcoming, making guests feel like part of the community. The food is good with something for everyone, including the highly praised kale salad and the top pasta dishes that many consider their go-to. There's also a small event space for gatherings, perfect for celebrating special occasions. The main highlight is the live music, featuring great bands and a volume that doesn't overpower conversation. This place is a great not-so-hidden gem near NASA and other research institutions, attracting friendly people and creating a comforting ambiance that many find nostalgic. For those who love laughs, authentic food, and having a good time in Greenbelt, this restaurant is a must-visit spot.
