“Just all around AMAZING service. Took care of me, my girlfriend and little cousin. Gotta give him a chance because his English isn’t as clear as ours. But he means well, and trying to make sure your experience is just as bomb as ours. Brought the pizza out to make sure it was too our liking, reasonable prices on the menu, and just all around gentleman. If you’re in old Greenbelt or even Greenbelt in general, please come check this spot out. I love this area, and it’s places like DMV Pizza that will have me staying here for a long time. Have a blessed one.“

“This is my favorite place to go to when I want a slice of pizza. The pizza is always fresh and the service is fast. You can’t beat a slice of cheese pizza for under $4. I’ve been a patron since the early 90’s at the Greenbelt, Maryland location. I highly recommend this business. Kudos to the staff! Great service, great food.“

“My husband and I were visiting DC for the weekend and decided we wanted a nice meal on our last night. Google brought us to Trattoria Alberto which I chose because it was only about a 10 minute uber from our hotel. I was nervous bc we didn’t have a reservation on a Saturday night but we walked in and were seated immediately. Then I was nervous bc it was 6:30 on a Saturday and the place was mostly empty. Our waiter, Luis, was so kind and friendly. He went through the specials which all sounded amazing. My husband got the beef carpaccio special bc Luis raved over it. He ordered it as an appetizer bc… YOLO. He said it was even better than Luis described. He then had the veal saltimbocca which he devoured. I played it simple and got a caesar salad and fettuccine alfredo w/chicken. The salad was fine but the alfredo sauce was the best I’ve had. The drinks were flowing, world cup soccer was on and everyone was having a good time with each other including the staff, ourselves and the table next to us. We ordered dessert to take back to the hotel. The chocolate mousse cake and cheesecake were fabulous as we sat in bed. I have no idea why this place was so empty on a Saturday night. Maybe it was a fluke or maybe locals don’t realize what a special gem they have right there in Capitol Hill. Regardless, we will be talking about this place for a while and returning if we ever happen to be in DC again!“

“he food was very good, and overall we had an enjoyable experience. The service was mostly excellent, although there was one issue during our visit—they accidentally missed one of our courses. I didn’t realize it until later, so I called the restaurant to let them know. To their credit, they handled it incredibly well. They apologized, prepared the missing course, and actually sent a driver to deliver it directly to our hotel.

I really appreciated how they took responsibility and went above and beyond to make it right. That level of customer service left a great impression. Of all the courses, the one that really stood out to me was the lemon cake dessert. It was an unexpected highlight and easily one of the most memorable dishes of the meal.“

“This was my first visit to The Strand DC for Brunch In Motion hosted by DesFit & Dance ( the last Sunday of each month and it was great. I grew up in this neighborhood and went to HD Woodson and didn't even know it was there. I love the energy and beauty it brings to Nannie Helen Burroughs Avenue. Although I didn't have brunch my family did and they enjoyed it. It was clean, great design and the GM Tre made sure we were well taken care of.“

“We visited at 6:30 on a Friday night at thr end of June and while the restaurant was busy, we only had to wait a few minutes to be seated as a table of four. Our server Brittny was friendly, attentive and checked in regularly. The one thing that was a little off was the timing of the food. The bread sticks came out, then the child's meal, then the salad, then the appetizer, then the main meals. The food was good. It's a chain restaurant so nothing was great, but it was all good. Overall a good experience.“

“First time eating here and I am in love. I decided to get chicken piccata, my favorite dish, because I'm always on the lookout for a good one. I am always disappointed by other restaurants because there's never enough sauce, cappers, no seasoning or over salted. Not here. There was a good amount of sauce, a lot of capers, good amount of chicken. The plate was huge!!! For 27 dollars including a drink and garlic knots thus was highly worth it. And the garlic bread that came with the pasta has real garlic on it. Chefs kiss. Coming back again and next time bringing friends. This place puts other pizza and italian places to shame.“

“It was incredible—surprisingly incredible. Under the new family management, and with no exaggeration, the food, service, prices, and team were among the best I’ve ever experienced in DC.

My usual fast pizza spot used to be domino's but this was way better so now when I want quick pizza this will definitely be my go to. We spent about $45 and got two pizzas with all the toppings we wanted and a gyro, and fed our family of 5 and had enough leftovers for 3 people the next day.“

Our service was excellent and on our servers recommendation we got the crab pretzel. I would have never thought it was almost as good as the pizza but it was outstanding.
Since Ledo franchised there have been some locations that do it right but College Park still has the rest beat.

“This is my favorite lunch place in DC. The food is outstanding, the staff are friendly, and the restaurant itself provides the feeling that you're enjoying a local sandwich shop. This is the best sandwich bread you can get in DC, and it's not even close. You can taste the freshness in every bite and the addition of being able to buy the meats and fresh baked rolls separately gives Salumeria a local, small-European town quality that can't be matched at other places. For this price point and this level of sandwich creation, you won't find anything better in DC. Try the Crudo, it's a classic, simple sandwich that provides rich flavors in every bite with fresh mozzarella and prosciutto that melts in your mouth.“

“I haven't been inside since the H Ledo re-opened. My grandson usually does pickup for me. I can say that since the re-opening their previously good pizza is now excellent. The two I bought
a few days ago made me want to turn around and get another immediately.“

“I do recommend Ledos and I have been going to this particular Ledos for a few years. I will say the particulars are falling thru lately. Last time I ordered a pizza with extra sauce and there was barely any there. I called and the lady answering the phone insisted I bring the pizzas back and I am located in Odenton. Considering I was hosting company it was ideal but a replacement pizza or refund was not on the table because I did not drive back there. I posted about that earlier. I went again last night and insisted if they could cook the pizza extra long since the dough has been extra doughy instead of thin and more crunchy. The pizza was doughy. I am not going to bother calling because I can’t bring the pizza back. I will still give it one more shot because your food is amazing but the attention to detail has fallen a bit in the last three months and the ability to fix the issue has changed.“

“I've been to a lot of Ledo Pizza locations over the years, and this one is easily my favorite. The food is always fresh, the service is consistently excellent, and the atmosphere is welcoming.

The woman who works there is incredibly kind and genuinely makes every visit a pleasant experience. She goes out of her way to make customers feel appreciated, and that level of hospitality is hard to find.

The gyro is, without a doubt, the best I've ever had. The meat is perfectly seasoned, the pita is fresh, and everything is made just right. I find myself coming back for it again and again.
