“I grew up eating cheese slices, sicilians, Italian ices, and calzones here since the late 80s. I even hung out at the dessert stand they opened in the 1990s. I loved them all. Then I moved away in the early 2000s. I miss this place at lot, especially with a huge lack of quality NY style pizza where I live. I still ask my folks to buy and freeze a pie to bring with them when they come to visit. Their sauce game is on point, in my humble opinion.“

But he means well, and trying to make sure your experience is just as bomb as ours. “I came to Ama the way most people come to a great love: by accident, unprepared, and completely unaware of the adorable bliss ahead. Most notable, always, will be the staff. Nowhere else in DC will you find such lovely people. They are polite, chatty, welcoming even on the busiest days, and so well prepared to present their knowledge of the restaurant and the owner's vision for it with obvious respect and interest. They will gladly tell you how thoughtfully the food is prepared, and man does it come through on all of those promises. “My husband and I were visiting DC for the weekend and decided we wanted a nice meal on our last night. Google brought us to Trattoria Alberto which I chose because it was only about a 10 minute uber from our hotel. I was nervous bc we didn’t have a reservation on a Saturday night but we walked in and were seated immediately. Then I was nervous bc it was 6:30 on a Saturday and the place was mostly empty. Our waiter, Luis, was so kind and friendly. He went through the specials which all sounded amazing. My husband got the beef carpaccio special bc Luis raved over it. He ordered it as an appetizer bc… YOLO. He said it was even better than Luis described. He then had the veal saltimbocca which he devoured. I played it simple and got a caesar salad and fettuccine alfredo w/chicken. The salad was fine but the alfredo sauce was the best I’ve had. The drinks were flowing, world cup soccer was on and everyone was having a good time with each other including the staff, ourselves and the table next to us. We ordered dessert to take back to the hotel. The chocolate mousse cake and cheesecake were fabulous as we sat in bed. I have no idea why this place was so empty on a Saturday night. Maybe it was a fluke or maybe locals don’t realize what a special gem they have right there in Capitol Hill. Regardless, we will be talking about this place for a while and returning if we ever happen to be in DC again!“

This is the best sandwich bread you can get in DC, and it's not even close. You can taste the freshness in every bite and the addition of being able to buy the meats and fresh baked rolls separately gives Salumeria a local, small-European town quality that can't be matched at other places. For this price point and this level of sandwich creation, you won't find anything better in DC. “Went to pick up pizza for family pizza night. Clair was managing and was incredibly helpful when we asked about a promotion they were running. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The new stuffed crust is really good and everyone loved the pizza (I have picky eaters). They also now have gelato which was really good!“

“I’ve had the same guy working each pick up I’ve gotten and he’s great. Shows you your order to make sure it’s right before leaving, everything has been made as ordered, hot, and tasty. Their GF pizza is fantastic, their wings are big and cooked perfectly and they always remember the condiments. The deals are incredible. The calzones are MASSIVE. The hot honey is my favorite topping.

The clientele are a little questionable at times and there aren’t a lot of parking options but that’s no one’s fault. The only advice I’d give is to have some sort of music playing inside. The place is eerily quiet so we don’t ever dine in but the tables and areas are always spotless.

I stopped by today and saw one of my long time friends so I knew my pizza would be perfect, I was right. The store is gone along with the deli but that wasn’t really the reason we went to 3 Brothers anyway. We went for a cold beer, a good cocktail and a delicious Italian meal. So happy to see you back on track, I hope this review helps people to decide to give it another shot, I missed this place so much.“

“This place is my favorite halal pizza restaurant. I love the pizza so much. It’s very delicious as well-made. the dough is soft. It’s not crunchy. That cheese is a delicious it doesn’t make me have any bloating or nausea or cause any unnecessary bowel movements Like dominoes and Papa John’s. Their meats are Halal Meaning it is not pork. Speak about other restaurants selling nasty, dirty pork products! I am a Muslim so I don’t eat any pork in this place is generally Halal.

The delivery is so fast they come here in like 15 minutes they don’t take their time like Domino’s and Papa John’s my pizza doesn’t come here Cold and I have to call them complain and put a one star under business.

“I haven't been inside since the H Ledo re-opened. My grandson usually does pickup for me. I can say that since the re-opening their previously good pizza is now excellent. The two I bought
a few days ago made me want to turn around and get another immediately.“

“I’ve been eating and loving Ledo Pizza since I was in College in the late ‘60s and there was only one location on University Boulevard in Adelphi near U of MD. To my mind, and my tastebuds, it is still the absolutely best pizza out there. I am so glad to now have a Ledo in my neighborhood. It has vastly improved my quality of life.“
