One of the best pizza! dc hidden secret, great staff and very good food, must try!!!
I’ve been to Alfreda multiple times now and just recently had the welcome party for my wedding here and it was phenomenal from start to finish. The food was perfect thanks to Chef Russell and the team took great care of my family and me. Highly recommend Alfreda!
Great service, great pizza, and great spritz. They have GF crusts which are delicious.

Pizzeria Alfreda is a wonderful gem in Washington, D.C., known for its fabulous and amazing pizza. The spot nails both the food and the aesthetic, offering solid Neapolitan style pizza in creative and delicious ways. Pizzas are unconventional, like the unique persimmon pizza or the guanciale mango pie with basil and stracciatella, which are balanced and delightful. They also offer a tomato pie with pepperoni and hot Italian sausage and romano cheese. The dough has potential with nice crumb and good flavor, though execution can sometimes be poor. The fabulous wings, fun wine list, and generous drinks add to the experience. A unique take on tiramisu is a perfect dessert. The entire staff is warm, friendly, genuinely welcoming, and fast, providing great service. The happy hour BOGO special is a great value. It is one of the favorite restaurants in the entire DMV, a place customers are thrilled to discover and already look forward to returning to.
