Their broth is so delicious and rich in flavor. The Thai tea is amazing. I was never one to get beef pho but when I did I was greatly impressed! All in all Great food, Great service, Great people.“

“My Family and I stopped here because we love Greek food and heard this was authentic Greek food. First thing I tried was the calamari appetizer, as we are from Louisiana and love our seafood. The calamari hands down was the best I have ever had. The texture, the flavor, everything about it was fantastic. You can get that kind of quality in a 5 Star restaurant. Next home made fry’s, absolutely delicious. Don’t left me forget the Spanakopita, first time hearing it and eating and also fell in love with it. I had the Big Fat Gyro lamb, as well as my son and wife. Again another fantastic dish. Full of flavor and the size of these are huge so you’re getting a great deal. My wife also order a platter of Souvlaki and a Gyro platter as well for us to try. Completely delicious. Hands down such a great place. I will definitely be coming back my next trip. “Hottest new seafood restaurant near DuPont Circle. Best Lobster Risotto I’ve had in my life! The Lobster Bisque was very creamy with large chunks of fresh meat. Topped it off with Key Lime Pie in a cup. The owners are very friendly and the service was excellent. Definitely a 5-star place!“

“We’ve been back here three times in one week and each time the food has been incredible! The pho is outstanding - great broth, meat, veg, noodles. The chicken salad is shockingly good - will definitely be getting it again! And my friend tried the curry and banh mi combo with a fried egg which were, again, delicious. Staff are also so lovely. “Phonatics is great — we live right by it and go there frequently for pho on cold days when we want to warm our soul, and banh mi in the summer when we want the tender chicken with pickled onion on a crunchy baguette. The atmosphere is great, the staff is accommodating, and the food is such a quality that it never fluctuates. There was even a time when I couldn’t find basil at any nearby store, and in a hurry I went to Phonatics and they were kind enough to give me a bag of Thai basil. It saved my bruschetta.“

She always gets the kids Alfredo with broccoli and a side, and I stick with my crispy chicken fettuccine Alfredo. As usual, everything was fresh and came out great. The only thing to be modified is the time it took to take drink orders and the order of food delivery (the preference is for appetizers to come out before the meal but asking the customer if all is desired together is good).

The venue is spacious, the light is well balanced and it has nice music playing juat enough to set the scene for authentic cuisine. We will definitely be back when we return to DC.“

Four stars because no real signage and didn’t see a bathroom. I pulled into left side coming off the road but makes sense to pull into the right side that way you don’t have to turn around once in the back but if you over night well you’ll have to spin the truck around anyways.“
