ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE!!! No I'm not employed here! I have to limit myself to once every other week. After being in the restaurant industry for 25 years I DEFINITELY respect this places consistency. Try it out.
Best authentic Shanghai soup dumpling in town! Super delicious and healthy!
Surprised by all the flavor at Dumpling District Hyattsville! This is a new favorite for Vietnamese-ish cuisine in Maryland. 5 stars which I translate to 5 jets. Sorry Shanghai, but everything I ordered that was Shanghainese tastes precisely similar to Vietnamese fare, excluding the soup dumplings, and I have no complaints about it because that is why I ordered from this menu.) I think I might put Shanghainese and Southeast Asian fare somewhere in this menu description.

Based on the reviews, Pho & Dumpling District is located in Luna Food Hall, inside a mall in a busy area. The pho is very flavorful, and the restaurant was recently added to this location with easier parking than other spots. The food is delicious, and the Rainbow soup dumplings are a highlight, with the shrimp & zucchini and black truffle dumplings being favorites. Other meals include pork and vegetable wontons in peanut butter spicy sauce, general tso's chicken, and chicken dumplings. The food is decent and on par for DC pricing. The service is great and very sweet, and the ambiance is calm and welcoming. However, the inside looks like it needs a refresh, and staff could not answer questions about the food. The dumpling sauce was a miss. The restaurant has consistent quality, and carrying out is better than eating inside.
