Spring Mill Bread Co. is a highly-recommended neighborhood staple. Decadent breakfast sandwiches, extraordinary Challah, and fabulously buttery scones (the chocolate chip & blueberry are a must).
The cozy environment, complete with local art pieces, allows you to enjoy your food with a pleasant view. Highly recommend.

Went to visit my mother in law in Takoma park, and my husband brought me here. They gave us a piece of sourdough bread while we waited for a sandwich. Omg, it was so warm and chewy, amazing!! Writing a review based off that sourdough before even trying the sandwich lol
Desserts are nothing to write home about. They are nothing special is what I am trying to say. However, if you are looking for excellent bread then this shop is the best. The quality of the bread making is outstanding and above average if you looking for good bread.
