Highly recommend! Sweet Pia is a local baker in Alexandria. Sometimes I get overwhelmed placing an order, but not with her system. The cake and cookie forms are both straight forward and thorough. She’s very responsive and gets back to you within 2-3 days (as mentioned on the forms). My experience was wonderful from start to finish. I had a last minute change in my schedule that caused a conflict with my original pick up date. I immediately reached out to her explaining my situation. She was friendly, understanding and flexible. My niece’s 8th birthday party was under the sea themed. I ordered the medium sized lemon raspberry cake flavor, vanilla buttercream and raspberry curd filling along with a dozen regular sized and mini sized vanilla-almond cookies. The cake was moist, firm and the perfect combination of sweet and tart. The cookies were whimsical to look at, they were absolutely delicious. The hint of vanilla-almond flavor made it even more tasty than the everyday sugar cookie. Also, the cookie was baked to perfection. It wasn't crumbly or overly crispy. It had an amazing consistency that seemed to almost want to melt in your mouth. Everything was beautifully decorated!
