“I did not realize I hadn't put this in earlier so I apologize for this very late review. The experience with Kalyani from start to finish was amazing. I wanted some things I couldn't see on the order form online and she was so very accommodating, gracious and so quick to respond. I ordered 8 mini cheesecakes (Nutella, lavender, blueberry, saffron, red velvet and plain) and a 9" chocolate cheesecake with chocolate ganache. Everything was so beautifully presented...one of those moments where you eat first with your eyes in anticipation because you almost don't want to cut into it. They all were fantastic...tasting true to their flavors and the ingredients were so incredibly fresh with just the right amount of balance of spice, sweet and slight tang. I'm sensitive to ingredients and I had no reactions so I knew hers were top quality. As this was for a special occasion with a friend coming into town, it really made her visit extra special. I would definitely recommend her cheesecake to anyone who loves quality cheesecake and wonderful customer service. You can feel the love and passion she puts into everything she touches with her business. Hoping more people discover just how talented she is.“

Perfectly soft cake with just the right amount of sweetness, and the Nutella flavor really came through without being overpowering. It completely hit the spot when I needed a sweet treat. “We buy Sangak and Barbari bread with black and white sesame every week, and we have been doing so for the past three years. The taste is always excellent, with a wonderful aroma of herbs, the Italians or the ones who have had genuine Italian bread know what I mean.

When my family came from England to visit, they couldn’t believe how much Barbari and Taftoon bread we eat—it is truly delicious. Before leaving, they ordered 10 of each to take back for their friends so they could enjoy it longer. The bread reminds us of the home made bread my grandma used to bake in her own clay oven in her kitchen. Who would have thought how many sweet memories this kind of bread could evoke?

This small family bakery is always super clean, with an amazing atmosphere. The team are friendly and welcoming, and the space is spotless. It truly feels like being back home, full of beautiful memories.

“Macarons are hard to master but Lovely Macarons does an excellent job. My husband has surprised me with these delightful treats several times and I have never had a flavor I did not like. They are baked to perfection and have a perfect texture. My favorite flavors are the birthday cake and cookies and cream.“

“Was in a bind and way behind over the Christmas celebration with a wife who is gluten sensitive and has a birthday on Christmas Eve. Did an order in the AM and drove over to check out the place and glad I did as they were super busy and usually get orders weeks in advance. Chef Dennis did some magic and delivered an amazing teal colored (her favorite color) cake with yellow butter cake and chocolate butter icing. Definitely was a huge hit, and will get in front of this for my next order.“

“Loved the DIY cupcakes and story time today. My two girls had so much fun and the cupcake was delicious. We are definitely coming back to the next events. The lady who read the story time was so nice and the other lady who was providing the materials even helped me with my 1 1/2 year old so I could focus on my 3 year old. “I come to this location a lot and really love the cookies. The problem that I have encountered more than a couple of times is when a cookie is sold out there is no signage communicating that. So you come in, order at the kiosk, and while waiting for the order you are hit with “we are sold out! Would you like another cookie or a refund” Wouldn’t it be more efficient to write on a piece of paper that you are sold of something so that customers entering the store know? Or have it on the screen somewhere?

Update: they have finally fixed this issue and now when something is sold out it will show in the screen.“

The first time I reviewed the order in the app and this time I decided to put my complaint online. Moral of the story, make sure the person picking up your order opens the box to verify what was ordered vs what is received“

“This cake was DELICIOUS!!! My friend purchased a Randy Cake for my twins 1st Birthday. Hands down the best tasting cake I have ever had. The picture doesn’t do it justice. “Cosmo One is hands down one of the best spots in the DMV for beef shawarma, absolutely unmatched! I drove over 30 miles just to try it and it was well worth the trip. The chicken kabobs and fresh salad were excellent, and the pistachio shawarma was a unique highlight that did not disappoint. I just wish it was closer to home, I’d be there every other day.
