Arrived for our evening departure out of IAD around 6pm. Conveniently located near gate A14, no wait at all. Friendly and welcoming front desk checked our boarding passes and lounge card. Complimentary ongoing access with Chase CSR as well Ritz Carlton cards. Priority Pass with limitations. Addl. guests for a fee ($75).
Nice two-level layout with a large window front to the tarmac. Appealing design with warm tones. Ample seating at the bar counter, various tables and couches.
Great bar for drinks and hand-crafted cocktails, including zero proof. Self-service buffet and made to order food via QR code.
Limited bathrooms (people had to queue), shower room requires a reservation.
Professional and attentive, helpful staff. Definitely one of the better/best airport lounges in the US.

Go here for fantastic IPA variety, but don't sleep on the other brews, you won't be disappointed. Hate that you can't get it everywhere, but love that they stay small enough to protect quality.”

“Went Saturday afternoon. No line. Doing some renovations so limited menu. The Sambar was delicious as my type of flavor profile with a little tangibles. I had the Onion masala Dhosa which was good with the chutneys. The owner was very nice. Each table had enough spoons, forks, and napkins. I would go back with family for quick bite. The dhosas are $13-17”

“I’m willing to bet that 5T Ice is one of those local gems that you might not be checking out enough. Don’t let the name fool you - this is place is FAR more than frozen yogurt, delicious bubble teas and coffees. I’ve been during the week and ALWAYS have to get the house special Banh Mi, but on weekends it’s basically like Christmas for your mouth. They have all of these homemade Vietnamese specialties and if you can’t decide, I strongly recommend the scorched-earth approach I used and just get everything you carry out of there.”

“Once again, we're now for burgers with my son to discuss business and had a $50 bill for 2 burgers. A beer and one drink, which I thought was kind of high. The burgers were small, but they were well garnished and tasty. The coltla was a little flat and tasteless needed more salt, but overall it was a good experience.And I was pleasantly surprised, red robin in the past has been very poor quality and very poor service”

My favorite drink is the Pistachio Latte. I order it every single time because it’s so delicious and always made perfectly.

“It’s a good place to grab a quick bite, on some days operation is sometimes slow. But they make up for it on the prep time. The atmosphere is like a sandwich chain like you find near a plaza or mall. The Manager (Wendy) is a great with the food service. Sometimes when they are on a crunch they usually would get the orders out fast enough.”

“The doors were still locked when I sat down. It was around 5:42, and I picked the seat for the outlet, not the coffee.

Israel came out at about 5:51. Urban Crave opens at 6. He said good morning, asked if I needed anything, saw me plugged into their counter before they were even open, and let it be. That is nine minutes before his shift owed anybody anything, spent making a stranger with a phone feel like a customer instead of a problem.

I ordered coffee and nothing else, so treat this as a review of a person and a bar stool.

He is from Ethiopia. He moves at a pace that has no relationship to an airport, and he adjusts to whoever sits down in front of him instead of running one script at everybody. You are at ease before you have decided to be. At 5:51 in the morning, in a terminal, that is not a small thing.

The coffee came over ice in a pint glass on a long granite bar. It did the job.

Practical: Concourse A, past security, opens at 6. The bar has outlets, which at Dulles is worth planning around. If you have an early departure and time to kill, sit there instead of at the gate, and ask for Israel.

Airport service usually comes with a timer running on it. This did not.
