“I’m willing to bet that 5T Ice is one of those local gems that you might not be checking out enough. Don’t let the name fool you - this is place is FAR more than frozen yogurt, delicious bubble teas and coffees. I’ve been during the week and ALWAYS have to get the house special Banh Mi, but on weekends it’s basically like Christmas for your mouth. They have all of these homemade Vietnamese specialties and if you can’t decide, I strongly recommend the scorched-earth approach I used and just get everything you carry out of there.“

The only thing to know is that the space is pretty small, so on a hot summer day you may want to plan accordingly. That said, it is absolutely worth the stop. I loved the caramel fig ice cream — super flavorful, unique, and balanced — and they also make a mean affogato.

“Took my kiddo there last night and as soon as we tried it, we knew this is our new favorite local ice cream! Absolutely delicious, perfectly creamy and not too sweet. And then, the cherry on top: we ordered two more cups to take home to the rest of the family and we noticed that one came out with a much smaller scoop than the other. Wasn’t going to say anything about it (the scoops are very generous to begin with), but then out of nowhere a couple comes over and tells us they are going to get us an extra scoop. And within seconds, they did! We were too shocked to talk with them more but a little sleuthing online when we got home revealed they were the owners! This act of generosity and customer service made a big impact on my kiddo (and me) and cemented this place as our new favorite! Can’t wait to go back!!“

They offer many unique and tasty flavors of boba tea as well as an awesome variety of the Vietnamese cuisine. They recently renovated the place and by the photo you can see many people order daily from Tom Tom because they know what’s up. “I come to this location a lot and really love the cookies. The problem that I have encountered more than a couple of times is when a cookie is sold out there is no signage communicating that. So you come in, order at the kiosk, and while waiting for the order you are hit with “we are sold out! Would you like another cookie or a refund” Wouldn’t it be more efficient to write on a piece of paper that you are sold of something so that customers entering the store know? Or have it on the screen somewhere?

Update: they have finally fixed this issue and now when something is sold out it will show in the screen.“

“We visited Hamrock's for their 10-year anniversary dinner menu, and it was an amazing experience! Every dish was made with high-quality ingredients, the portions were generous, and the flavors were incredible. The wine paired perfectly with the meal and was just as impressive.

The atmosphere was cozy, relaxing, and perfect for a nice dinner. We especially loved the outdoor garden patio, it added such a charming touch to the experience. They have the typical DQ selections and some limited food. Don't expect them to have the different foods advertised in the commercials on TV. They do have a foot-long chili dog. It's not the greatest, but sometimes, you just crave it.“
