“I’m willing to bet that 5T Ice is one of those local gems that you might not be checking out enough. Don’t let the name fool you - this is place is FAR more than frozen yogurt, delicious bubble teas and coffees. I’ve been during the week and ALWAYS have to get the house special Banh Mi, but on weekends it’s basically like Christmas for your mouth. They have all of these homemade Vietnamese specialties and if you can’t decide, I strongly recommend the scorched-earth approach I used and just get everything you carry out of there.“

“Took my kiddo there last night and as soon as we tried it, we knew this is our new favorite local ice cream! Absolutely delicious, perfectly creamy and not too sweet. And then, the cherry on top: we ordered two more cups to take home to the rest of the family and we noticed that one came out with a much smaller scoop than the other. Wasn’t going to say anything about it (the scoops are very generous to begin with), but then out of nowhere a couple comes over and tells us they are going to get us an extra scoop. And within seconds, they did! We were too shocked to talk with them more but a little sleuthing online when we got home revealed they were the owners! This act of generosity and customer service made a big impact on my kiddo (and me) and cemented this place as our new favorite! Can’t wait to go back!!“

When they were out of the flavor we requested for our holiday ice cream cake, he put in so much effort to contacting us, making a custom flavor for us, and making sure we were able to get our order in time for the holiday, even with special hours. “I have been to Tom Tom Boba many times with my friends and family and they never disappoint. They offer many unique and tasty flavors of boba tea as well as an awesome variety of the Vietnamese cuisine. They recently renovated the place and by the photo you can see many people order daily from Tom Tom because they know what’s up. “I had such a great service in this location!! Jiwan was so sweet and such a nice girl and It was clear she was doing most of the work she dealt with a big rush all by herself, and then this other employee just popped out the back? as if there wasn’t a big rush just now. He didn't seem to know what he was doing and wasn't providing much help. Embarrassing. Besides that this location has very good flavors and is pretty clean!!!“

“I come to this location a lot and really love the cookies. The problem that I have encountered more than a couple of times is when a cookie is sold out there is no signage communicating that. So you come in, order at the kiosk, and while waiting for the order you are hit with “we are sold out! Would you like another cookie or a refund” Wouldn’t it be more efficient to write on a piece of paper that you are sold of something so that customers entering the store know? Or have it on the screen somewhere?

Update: they have finally fixed this issue and now when something is sold out it will show in the screen.“

I am a big fan of gelato and when I tell you this is TOP SHELF w/ a side of phenomenal customer service I mean it. I love that they have such a wide variety of flavors, and they’re always adding fun seasonal options too. The staff here are friendly and patient, even when the line gets long. “This is my favorite ice cream store in the whole wide world. You can find gelato that’s equally good in some places in Italy but not everywhere, and even then it’s not better than this. Strawberry, golden kiwi, blood orange, mojito, ginger and tumeric, black tea, melons are all our favorites. Each tastes like the best version of the real fruit or food, incredibly smooth, velvety, never sugary sweet, very refreshing and natural. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the loving care of the process. It’s never piled high in the open, and they’ll give tasting to whatever you want to try so you’ll never regret what you order. I use to think they are priced a bit high but now I just feel very lucky to be able to have this any day that I want and not have to take a flight to Italy, so this place is very reasonable.“

“I bought a MangoNada was fresh and delicious and the young ladies make it right away this is my first time trying I am from New York and came to visit a friend I wish to have a mangolina that I can buy me a mangonada everyday on summer but not only that the staff was friendly and they went above and beyond giving recommendations what I can try and I am satisfied with my mangona and the customer service I got. “I recently visited Cafe Bdan in Centreville. The location is conveniently located next to Hmart. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, perfect for either a relaxed solo visit or catching up with friends.

“It's a clean, nice location with parking in a strip shopping center. Like all DQs, they are very busy in the summer, especially after school and after dinner. They have the typical DQ selections and some limited food. Don't expect them to have the different foods advertised in the commercials on TV. They do have a foot-long chili dog. It's not the greatest, but sometimes, you just crave it.“
