“This DD store is pretty new to the area and I wanted to check it out and visited this place yesterday. The store was clean and the donuts, bagels and other items were arranged neatly and was clearly visible to the customers. The order was taken and prepared well. There were no ice cream cakes on the freezer. Overall a good place to grab n go.“

It's quite the drive for our family, but it is the best priced ice cream we've found and the variety of rotating hand scoop ice creams is fantastic. The flight of 4 cost 7.50, and I feel that's fair for the variety and amount of ice cream you get. The butter pecan was incredible and we also loved the cheesecake. The soft serve was generously portion for a small and my children were delighted with it. The fudge ripple was the clear winner on the soft serve front. Wasn’t going to say anything about it (the scoops are very generous to begin with), but then out of nowhere a couple comes over and tells us they are going to get us an extra scoop. When they were out of the flavor we requested for our holiday ice cream cake, he put in so much effort to contacting us, making a custom flavor for us, and making sure we were able to get our order in time for the holiday, even with special hours. They have many ice cream flavors, but Superman was not the tasty Superman ice cream I know so I didn’t really enjoy that flavor.

We ordered the hot & sour boneless claws, hot & sour crunch, rice paper salad, and saté rice paper, everything was flavorful, fresh, and so satisfying. The place is cute, clean, and cozy with a very welcoming vibe.

They even have a lucky spin, and I got 15% off my total order, which made the experience extra fun. On top of that, the cashier was a very friendly lady, which made the visit even better.

“This is the classic RTC spot. A go-to for afterschool treats every year starting second grade. The cardamom flavor rocks… There’s almost no reason to go to RTC anymore post-covid and paid parking, but Pitango has stuck around, outlasting Red Velvet, Busara, Big Bowl, Mon Ami Gabi, and even Clyde’s… once it closes I may never return. It’s criminal what Boston Properties has done to Reston Town Center, which for me was more than the center of Reston, it was the center of the world, nay, the universe. Even Pitango’s long-time neighbor The Counter has disappeared. I fear RTC’s Pitango may not be long for this world, would like to return sometime soon. Vintage photos attached“
