“This was honestly the selling point for me going on a hiking walk! Such a smart idea to have an ice cream parlor at the park. Love the train in the parlor that mimics the train in the park. They have many ice cream flavors, but Superman was not the tasty Superman ice cream I know so I didn’t really enjoy that flavor.
There was a park behind the parlor which was cute for kids.

They offer many unique and tasty flavors of boba tea as well as an awesome variety of the Vietnamese cuisine. They recently renovated the place and by the photo you can see many people order daily from Tom Tom because they know what’s up. “From the moment I stepped into Cold Stone, the smell of freshly baked waffle cones hit me like a warm hug. The store was clean, bright, and filled with the cheerful sound of staff singing birthday tunes and mixing ice cream creations on the signature frozen granite stone.

I ordered the “Founder’s Favorite” in a waffle bowl – a heavenly blend of sweet cream ice cream, brownie chunks, pecans, fudge, and caramel. Every bite was rich and indulgent without being overly sweet. The texture was velvety smooth, and you could tell the ingredients were top quality – the brownies were soft and gooey, not dry like you find at other places.

For my second scoop (because how could I stop at one?), I tried a custom creation: cheesecake ice cream with strawberries, graham cracker pie crust, and white chocolate chips. It was like having cheesecake in ice cream form – perfectly balanced and refreshing.

The staff were incredibly friendly and patient as I debated my mix-ins. They didn’t rush, and they made my ice cream right in front of me with a smile, even tossing in a bit of showmanship while mixing.

“Took the entire family to Freddy's to get for the July lunch and noticed it would make a great vantage point to come back at night to watch fireworks. So we had a great time they are there's great food for young people in older lake The kids loved it but the star of the show was coming back later last night to watch the fireworks being launched from Fairfax high School by Fairfax City for their annual fireworks display. The parade was rained out and we feared the fireworks would be as well but they weren't a place was packed the streets were packed every place was packed but if we're nothing else check Freddy's out for the most epic spot to watch fireworks from. Everybody had a spectacular time and don't forget they're frozen custard is legit 10 out of 10 will go again next year and many times to eat there before then.“

“Haagen-Dazs is probably one of the most expensive ice cream places that I have been to, almost $8-$9 after tax. However, what makes them stand out from other ice cream stores is that they don’t use artificial ingredients, and their ice cream is a bit bold and dense compared to other ice cream brands. I really like their Belgian chocolate, because of the creaminess, richness of the chocolate.

I would say the service is great even though there is usually a big crowd waiting for their ice cream, especially when it gets closer to closing time. However, regarding the atmosphere, it feels a little cramped to be eating ice cream, especially with such limited seating. The staff aren’t the friendliest and gave a bit of an attitude when I asked about nuts, with no clear answer, but it panned out because the ice cream actually didn’t have nuts.

Kid-friendliness: could make more profits if they started selling kids’ sizes.“
