“Authors is an awesome local small-batch ice cream spot with a ton of creative, unique flavors. It has a quaint, fun vibe inside and feels like the kind of neighborhood place you want to keep coming back to.

The only thing to know is that the space is pretty small, so on a hot summer day you may want to plan accordingly. That said, it is absolutely worth the stop. I loved the caramel fig ice cream — super flavorful, unique, and balanced — and they also make a mean affogato.

“Genuinely the nicest ever, Merinda is a standout! a cookie I was wanting to try was sold out and she remembered and included it the next week when I ordered! She provided an immediate resolution to a problem I had over the phone also, rather than directing me to a customer support chat. I haven't been in person but I know it would be amazing from the customer service alone and I've never had a problem with cookie texture here!“

“After dinner I was craving some delicious ice cream & my date surprised me by taking me to the cutest ice cream shop ever. I am a big fan of gelato and when I tell you this is TOP SHELF w/ a side of phenomenal customer service I mean it. The staff was super nice, they allowed me to taste different flavors before I made my decision. They also have the cutest little “I melt for you” sign to take IG worthy pictures. “Rita’s is always a treat! The Italian ice is so fresh and flavorful! You can really taste the difference compared to other places. I love that they have such a wide variety of flavors, and they’re always adding fun seasonal options too. The staff here are friendly and patient, even when the line gets long. Everything is super clean and well-kept. I definitely recommend getting a Gelati (ice + custard) it’s the best of both worlds! Perfect place for a quick dessert stop, especially on a hot day.“

“Stopped by Cold Stone Belmont Chase and had such a good experience. I got the coffee flavor and it was really good—super creamy with a nice coffee taste that wasn’t too overpowering.

What stood out more though was the staff. They were so friendly and patient, let me try a couple flavors, and didn’t rush me at all. You can tell they actually care about giving good service, which makes a big difference. Everything was clean, quick, and just an overall easy, pleasant visit. Definitely coming back.“
