“I come to this location a lot and really love the cookies. The problem that I have encountered more than a couple of times is when a cookie is sold out there is no signage communicating that. So you come in, order at the kiosk, and while waiting for the order you are hit with “we are sold out! Would you like another cookie or a refund” Wouldn’t it be more efficient to write on a piece of paper that you are sold of something so that customers entering the store know? Or have it on the screen somewhere?

Update: they have finally fixed this issue and now when something is sold out it will show in the screen.“

“I've always had good experiences at this location, which is why I'm still giving it 4 stars and will continue coming back.

That said, I had a concerning experience during my visit on June 29 at around 8:40 PM. I wasn't asked for my rewards phone number, which is normally fine because I can scan the barcode on my receipt later to receive my rewards points. However, when I received my receipt, there was no barcode to scan. In the past, whenever I haven't provided my phone number, a barcode has always been printed so I could claim my points afterward.

Based on that, I believe an employee may have entered a different rewards phone number instead of asking for mine. I can't say for certain that's what happened, but based on my previous experiences, it's the only explanation that makes sense to me. If that's what occurred, it's something management should investigate because customers shouldn't lose out on the rewards they've earned.

Other than this incident, I've always enjoyed coming here. The ice cream is great, the staff is usually friendly, and I hope this issue is addressed.“

“Took the entire family to Freddy's to get for the July lunch and noticed it would make a great vantage point to come back at night to watch fireworks. So we had a great time they are there's great food for young people in older lake The kids loved it but the star of the show was coming back later last night to watch the fireworks being launched from Fairfax high School by Fairfax City for their annual fireworks display. The parade was rained out and we feared the fireworks would be as well but they weren't a place was packed the streets were packed every place was packed but if we're nothing else check Freddy's out for the most epic spot to watch fireworks from. Everybody had a spectacular time and don't forget they're frozen custard is legit 10 out of 10 will go again next year and many times to eat there before then.“

“I visited Jeni’s at The Boro in McLean and it was so popular that the line was out the door. I ordered the standard two scoop option for around $7 and chose Brambleberry Crisp and House Coffee. While I do not think those two flavors paired especially well together, each was delicious on its own.

Jeni’s offers a wide variety of unique flavors, including Strawberry Pretzel Pie, Gooey Butter Cake, Goat Cheese with Red Cherries, and Wildberry Lavender, along with many others. They also have gluten free and dairy free options. The young man who helped me was friendly and provided excellent service.

There is also both indoor and outdoor seating, making it the perfect spot to enjoy ice cream on a hot summer day!“
