The waffle tasted incredibly fresh, and the pistachio kunafa flavor had the perfect crunch without being overly sweet—really well balanced. The hazelnut ice cream was rich and delicious as well.

Portion-wise, I do feel the second scoop could be slightly more generous for the price, but the quality definitely makes up for it.

I ordered a three-flavor cup and chose Black and White Cookie Batter, Dark Chocolate Fudge, and Dulce de Leche Chip. Each flavor was delightful! The restaurant was quite busy, which was a good sign considering its prime location near shopping stores and not far from Chinatown. When they were out of the flavor we requested for our holiday ice cream cake, he put in so much effort to contacting us, making a custom flavor for us, and making sure we were able to get our order in time for the holiday, even with special hours. “Haagen-Dazs is probably one of the most expensive ice cream places that I have been to, almost $8-$9 after tax. However, what makes them stand out from other ice cream stores is that they don’t use artificial ingredients, and their ice cream is a bit bold and dense compared to other ice cream brands. I really like their Belgian chocolate, because of the creaminess, richness of the chocolate.

I would say the service is great even though there is usually a big crowd waiting for their ice cream, especially when it gets closer to closing time. However, regarding the atmosphere, it feels a little cramped to be eating ice cream, especially with such limited seating. The staff aren’t the friendliest and gave a bit of an attitude when I asked about nuts, with no clear answer, but it panned out because the ice cream actually didn’t have nuts.

Vegetarian options: Not clear on vegan options.

Kid-friendliness: could make more profits if they started selling kids’ sizes.“

“Open till 11pm on Friday night. You might miss it cos it's the last establishment and kind of hidden behind the entrance to the movie theatre and parking garages. Their flavors are very unique. The cranberry goat cheese was so delicious!
They are pricey as I cream shops go but reasonable considering the location. They serve half scoops and it's around $8 for essentially 1 scoop (2 halves so you can taste more of those flavors is their excuse :-D). It is a must try in my book. They will validate your parking ticket for the garage so don't forget to give them your ticket.
They get my highest rating for being open after every other ice cream shop for miles is closed and for their very unique flavors. Service is also quick and friendly. I didn't see any limits on the number of samples you could try. Some places are getting picky about that of late.
The complex it is in seems to have some nice restaurants and bars and seems like a nice place to hangout and catch a movie even. So you could make an occasion out of a trip to this I cream shop that is more than just about ice cream.“

“Personally, I think that this crumble is great It has all the cookies not all the time because it’s a very crowded area because there’s a lot of people over there so they don’t always have all the people stock but I do think that when they have it they have really good cookies besides the ones I’ve had before from different stores have been too chewy too hard to raw, but this crumble makes sense great and I recommend this crumble a lot!“

The cardamom flavor rocks… There’s almost no reason to go to RTC anymore post-covid and paid parking, but Pitango has stuck around, outlasting Red Velvet, Busara, Big Bowl, Mon Ami Gabi, and even Clyde’s… once it closes I may never return. It’s criminal what Boston Properties has done to Reston Town Center, which for me was more than the center of Reston, it was the center of the world, nay, the universe. Even Pitango’s long-time neighbor The Counter has disappeared. I fear RTC’s Pitango may not be long for this world, would like to return sometime soon. Vintage photos attached“

We tried a few menu items, and each one was amazing. The fried wings were flavorful and crisp and the yucca fritters were savory. The Town Burger was perfectly cooked and the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich was delicious. The drinks are also a must try! I had the Town Tini and it was balanced and refreshing.“
