“Their milkshakes are always on point. Their smash burgers are generally solid, although this location a little more than other shake shacks overly burns the edges (into black charcoal, which for example happens less often at the other shake shack 1 mile away in the mall). When that happens I just break off the (usually small pieces of) pure charcoal, although some of my kids find having to do that annoying and now prefer they just get McDonald’s (across the street) when I want shake shack. It’s still a solid place though and I do recommend it.“

“I was happy to find this wonderful place. I ended up having a taiyaki soft-serve ice cream. I took one of the swirl options, of which I had the pistachio and yuzu white chocolate. For both the taiyaki waffle and cone filling, I believe I had ube. Ube is a purple yam that is often used in Filipino cuisine. The consistency is a bit starchy and has a vanilla-like flavor. As far as sprinkles, I had matcha tea powder, and as a topping, I had an ube wafer. As for the interior of the building, the decor was very cute, but I seriously think the bathrooms could be made to look a lot more interesting by adding cute traditional decor and mural paintings! Other than that, everything was great! The service, the decor, and the food were all splendid.“

“Haagen-Dazs is probably one of the most expensive ice cream places that I have been to, almost $8-$9 after tax. However, what makes them stand out from other ice cream stores is that they don’t use artificial ingredients, and their ice cream is a bit bold and dense compared to other ice cream brands. I really like their Belgian chocolate, because of the creaminess, richness of the chocolate.

I would say the service is great even though there is usually a big crowd waiting for their ice cream, especially when it gets closer to closing time. However, regarding the atmosphere, it feels a little cramped to be eating ice cream, especially with such limited seating. The staff aren’t the friendliest and gave a bit of an attitude when I asked about nuts, with no clear answer, but it panned out because the ice cream actually didn’t have nuts.

Vegetarian options: Not clear on vegan options.

Kid-friendliness: could make more profits if they started selling kids’ sizes.“

“My second visit to a Jeni's ice cream shop!! Their signature signage caught my attention while I was at happy hour.

I rarely come to this area, so I had to stop even though I already tried it before. The staff was super inviting and friendly as soon as we walked in. They let us try a couple samples. I was a little overwhelmed due to zero capacity and didn't bother to read the flavors/descriptions. I asked the employee for samples of the 2 seasonal flavors (Bay Leaf Cheesecake and Sweet Potato Marshmallow Praline). While they both tasted like pure sugar, I chose the Bay Leaf Cheesecake. I ordered the smallest size, which was the kid's scoop in a waffle cone.

Their ice cream is definitely pricey, given the area (and probably insane rent!).“

I am a big fan of gelato and when I tell you this is TOP SHELF w/ a side of phenomenal customer service I mean it. “My friends and I went to Baskin Robbins for icecream ?. My friend and I had one scoop of Pistachio Almond in a cup and our other friend got a scoop of Nutty Coconut Icecream with whipped cream on top. We enjoyed our treat a lot. The pistachio icecream is delicious and it was fun to sit outside on some Rattan Sofas and enjoy the cool weather.
