The owner, Steve, is so personable and you can tell he genuinely cares about his business. I also loved how he hyped up his staff, you can tell they’re appreciated. The food though… wow. The brown butter lobster roll was seriously amazing! The soft, flavorful bread and the lobster was so buttery and sweet. I’ve had lobster rolls before (even at the beach), and this one honestly beats them. The fried fish melts in your mouth and the truffle fries are addicting. My family and I left so impressed. The food was incredible, and Steve’s kindness just made it even better. He even shared how to make one of their sauces at home, which was such a nice gesture. So again, thank you Steve and staff for an amazing dinner & becoming our go-to seafood spot. We can’t wait to try more and checkout the playroom upstairs!“

“Absolutely amazing experience! We reserved two tables - one for our 17 y/o son and his friends. He was celebrating his birthday and the second table for our party of 3. Tony delivered outstanding service to both tables and made the experience so memorable. The cocktails were delicious (the Maverick was quite yummy). The food was incredible. Highly recommend the wagyu dumplings, the lobster tacos and the ribeye!!! The manager came by and checked on both tables which is always a nice touch. “A friend and I meet at Theisman's restaurant for lunch quite often. I live in Alexandria and she lives in Warrenton so it's a great middle point. We both love the food and the hostesses and waitstaff are excellent. The atmosphere is nice.. the reason I gave it 4 stars is that the music in there was so loud. We decided to sit on the porch thinking it would be quieter and it was such a beautiful day... unfortunately the music was extremely loud out there too and seemed to increase in volume as we were out there for about 2 hours. I noticed a few other people were saying that it was so loud too. We should have said something to the hostess but we had not seen each other in awhile. Wonderful place, but people do want to be able to talk and hear each other. Hopefully, this will get to the right ears ?“

“I want to take this opportunity to share our experience at your restaurant, Bonefish, on Friday, August 29. Our visit for lunch was a great success. Our group of 7 senior women were served by wait staff who were pleasant and patient as we gathered and took our time ordering their delicious salads. They had a nice selection of salad and soup. We all enjoyed our meals. We were also celebrating 2 birthdays. They offered the birthday girls a selection of deserts that were free for the two celebrants. We all sang Happy Birthday and even our waiter joined us We will certainly plan to visit again soon.in singing!“

As fans of Persian cuisine and frequent shoppers at Yekta Market in Rockville— having recently tried our hand at making Persian dishes like Fesenjan at home— coupled with all of the culinary accolades— we had high expectations for JOON. It not only met but exceeded them. Mast-o Musir, yogurt dish with Persian dried shallot and rose petal, was exceptional— more elevated and nuanced than any we’ve had. The mushroom Khoresht stew with white truffle was another highlight, offering perfectly balanced flavors something hard to do with white truffles and a satisfying richness, complemented by the perfectly crunchy Tahdig, iconic golden rice crust. The braised lamb shoulder which Yacine suggested was the undeniable highlight of the meal I which each dish was excellent. Tender and flavorful, it was paired beautifully with texture. It’s a signature dish that rivals the best we’ve ever had, bringing to mind the legendary Bo Ssam pork shoulder from David Chang’s Momofuku— bold, unforgettable, and expertly prepared. The Gormeh Sabzi, short rib stew with its delicious sour depth, was excellent but couldn’t quite match the lamb’s showstopping brilliance. Two very minor points. While the food and service are exceptional, the main dining room lighting would benefit from dimming. A water filtration water system could make a big difference as well. JOON has firmly secured its place as a must-visit dining destination for us. We can’t wait to return and explore more of the menu.“

“I used to go to Dave's Seafood YEARS ago when it was in Manassas and when I found out that they were in Chantilly I still drive out there just for the fried catfish. I love that it's fried hard (I hate limp fried fish) and the cornmeal gives the batter a good crunch that's not too much.
The hushpuppies are also very good. They're the kind that have corn inside, not just batter.
I also enjoy the cheesesteaks (I get mine with jumbo sauce), fried shrimp, and grilled ham and cheese sandwiches.
I find that they have a good bottled drink selection as well. I always find either an old favorite, or a flavor that I've never tried before.“
