“I ordered the fried flounder with mashed potatoes and collard greens. It's ok. The fish was a little dry and a little tough to chew and you can tell they are not using the freshest cooking oil to fry it in. But it's not overseasoned, I would even say it's underseasoned for my linking. But overall its not bad if you have the taste for fried fish and looking for a quick fix. I would only go here sparingly.“

“This place has potential. I had Orange Chicken, Egg Roll, and Fried Wontons.
Fried Wontons had a good amount of meat. The wrapping needs to be thicker. That would make it Great, but "as is" it is still very good.
Egg roll wrapping was great. The filling was Good, but it needs some meat like roast pork just like they make it in NYC. They are pretty good as well.
Orange Chicken is a Must Have. Definitely, one of the best orange chicken I ever had. Not on the menu, you need to order it directly. Highly recommend.
Pricing was average.
I was reading other reviews and people we stating that food is not consistently good. I order again some other time to verify.

Not sure why reviewers would ever try comparing China Cafe to a white linen asian restaurant as this type of comparison is nonsensical. Therefore, anything less than 5-stars is demeaning and culturally marginalizing which China Cafe does not deserve.

And at least two tables seated with 2-4 customers each eating in the restaurant. So yes a great place to satisfy that itch for old school Americanized Chinese food.“

“This place was recommended by a friend who lives and breathes KBBQs, this was my actual first one and have stuck to it since, Richard was our server, he made our experience the best and was helpful with understanding things, unfortunately he no longer works there but Ashley the lady from the bar takes care of us now, I recommend their lemonades they have like 3 different flavors, anyways I love love love coming here their brisket, pork belly and everything is to die for ESPECIALLY the teriyaki sauce to dip your meats in ;) , there is no other place that I will eat KBBQ's at unless I moved far away so come on over and spend that money because they need to stay in business until the day I die.“

“I was in Manassas for business meeting and we finished early, decided to find a place for lunch. Jumbo Lump Crab Cake was 15 minutes away but we decided to go there based upon the Yelp Reviews. The food was excellent, the crab cake and sides were better than we thought they would be. This is carry out only, but that's just fine. The staff was super polite and hospitable. I forgot to get the receipt (I needed it for business expenses), I called them, and they immediately took a picture of the receipt and texted it to me, as promised. I wish I lived closer but I will visit again, and will try the other dishes. Excellent!“

“The only reason I go here is because of FITO the bartender and server!!! He brings life to the restaurant!! The managers are always in a bad mood and bring their negativity to everyone else, especially the one Spanish dude always cursing and saying bad words he’s disrespectful to everyone! Especially to the staff. ONE day I told him HE NEEDS TO TREAT the staff better because they are going to leave. he kept yelling at one of them for no reason. “A friend and I meet at Theisman's restaurant for lunch quite often. I live in Alexandria and she lives in Warrenton so it's a great middle point. We both love the food and the hostesses and waitstaff are excellent. The atmosphere is nice.. the reason I gave it 4 stars is that the music in there was so loud. We decided to sit on the porch thinking it would be quieter and it was such a beautiful day... unfortunately the music was extremely loud out there too and seemed to increase in volume as we were out there for about 2 hours. I noticed a few other people were saying that it was so loud too. We should have said something to the hostess but we had not seen each other in awhile. Wonderful place, but people do want to be able to talk and hear each other. Hopefully, this will get to the right ears ?“

Our group of 7 senior women were served by wait staff who were pleasant and patient as we gathered and took our time ordering their delicious salads. They had a nice selection of salad and soup. We all enjoyed our meals. We were also celebrating 2 birthdays. They offered the birthday girls a selection of deserts that were free for the two celebrants. We all sang Happy Birthday and even our waiter joined us We will certainly plan to visit again soon.in singing!“

“My wife and I were celebrating our 28th anniversary. The Capital Grille made our special day even more special. Our hosts and server made our dining experience exceptional. I would highly recommend the chef's recommendations. My wife ordered the roasted beet and goat cheese salad with crushed pistachios and citrus vinaigrette, and slice filet mignon with cipollini onions, wild mushrooms and fig essence. I ordered the wedge with bleu cheese and smoked bacon, and porcini rubbed bone-in ribeye with 15 year aged balsamic. We also ordered sides, soy-glazed brussels sprouts with bacon, and roasted wild mushrooms. Did we order too much food? Absolutely! The portions are very generous and everything was amazing. If you want to order one side, the soy-glazed brussels sprouts with bacon is a must. My wife and I want to thank The Capital Grille for a wonderful evening.“

“This is not a separate restaurant but part of Whole Foods, but well done in a fabulous Whole Foods that is much larger than other Whole Foods I have shopped at. The venue is a large over bar counter with good seafood and good service. I had the entree salad with salmon which was very good, My only complaint is that the wine came from a tap. For the quality they have they should be pouring from individual bottles that Whole Foods carries. To add to that the red wine was cold!! I Will be back next time in the area Definitely Romanophile approved!!“

“Wow! I popped in over the weekend for takeout & I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the garden spring rolls which are fantastic, I would go as far to say the best I've ever had. So good, I went back again the day after for more. They are served with a creamy peanut sauce & my favorite a spicy chili sauce. I consider myself a connoisseur of sauces & this sauce ranks on the top of my list. It has a tang that backs up with a punch of heat. It's pretty amazing. I also ordered the seafood stir fry. The flavors in this dish are very dimensional, authentic & delicious! So much that I ate the rest for breakfast the following morning. Since I ordered takeout, the shrimp cooked a bit longer in the container ... I wish I had opened it a bit but nevertheless, it was a great dish. Nothing to ding the chef on. I wish I had found this little gem sooner. I'm moving out of state in a couple of weeks & gonna miss out on this wonderful food. I hope to try more before my departure & wish Viet Fire Kitchen all my best!“

“Lovely dining experience for a friend's birthday. Atmosphere is cozy and warm. We shared food amongst 3 hungry people! Burrata, foccacia, pumpkin ravioli (sweet), beef bolognese, and short ribs. I would recommend the foccacia and bolognese. Drinks were unique. I highly recommend trying the Mockery, refreshing and fruity. To top, they beautifully plated a dessert we brought in at the end for the birthday girl. Wonderful service!“

“This was the first time I've ever had Korean BBQ and the waiter was very patient, knowledgeable, and pleasant to talk to. He made many suggestions and I was pleasantly surprised to love everything he brought me. Made the whole experience enjoyable.

I was visiting from out of town and remarked to one of the other staff members that I'll have to find a good Korean BBQ spot when I get home and they where quick to make recommendations and load me up with Korean snacks/chips/drinks for the road which where delicious.

“Oh my goodness…what a treat to find this place!! It was exactly what I was hoping for in some southern food! We had the hish puppies, Mac & cheese, fried catfish nuggets, fried shrimp, fried okra & the cornbread. ALL of it was perfectly delicious! I wish we lived nearby so we could come every week to work our way through their amazing menu. And to top it off the service was fantastic! Go go go try this place out. You won’t regret it. ❣️“

“Nothing is better than being welcomed like family when you walk in the door!  Seeing all the happy people visiting Cantina D'Italia on this busy Saturday evening heightens the anticipation of another great meal. This lovely establishment with it's traditional Italian decor is reminiscent of several long-standing Tuscan restaurants I visited in the past. My family feels like the Cantina D'Italia provides the best around for many of the classic Italian comfort foods as well as grande cuisine offerings which are always generous and flavorful. Tonight, the rich tomato sauce served with the traditional manicotti is a consistant winner with my mother. I crave the Cantina's eggplant Parmigiana which is so satisfying and my siblings love the assorted ravioli offerings. Do not deny yourself the grande finales of desserts, with the incredibly creamy Tiramsu!“
