Frye's Famous Crab Cake CO serves genuine lump crab cakes that are solid lump of crab, well seasoned, and not overcooked with a good crust from the bake. The flavor is fresh and delightful. The shrimp pasta is exceptional, and the shrimp salad is also really good. Sides include good hush puppies and very good potato salad with big chunks of potato. The crab cakes are not substituted with other fillings, and there are express lunch options with sandwiches and sides for $10. The food is somewhat pricey, and there is an extra fee for salads. The customer service is fantastic, with very nice staff. Some locations do not have seating, so meals may be eaten in the car. This place is a MUST try, as the crab cakes are better than Chesapeake crab cake. A new location is on the way in Gainesville near Target/Lowe's/etc.
