Solid lump of crab. Well seasoned with good hush puppies on the side. Not overcooked, but a good crust from the bake. Flavor was fresh and delightful. One of the better non gimmick crab cakes I've tried.
Crabcake was full of lump crabmeat. Hush puppies were soft and tasty but I prefer them cooked a little harder. Crab salad was AWFUL. Super SALTY - WAY TOO MUCH - possibly too much old bay used. Literally tasted like I was eating table salt. If I hadn't been so tired, I would have driven back to restaurant and asked to exchange that side dish for something else.
The crab cakes are genuine lump crab and are not substituted with other fillings. I recommend giving them a try. Additionally, I suggest that the establishment expand its menu to include other sides, such as fries, string beans, or macaroni and cheese. The shrimp pasta is exceptional. While the food is somewhat pricey, they do charge an extra fee for the salads, but I still encourage you to give them a try.
