“You have got to ask for Jay Kim, he is the best server in the house. He was patient and ever so helpful with us as first time hot potters. I had a vegetarian hot pot, well, except for the dumplings. Although they have no vegetarian options, he worked with me and provided me with an alternate option. It would be more awesome for them to add it to their menu tho for those of us who just love veggies. The broth is vegetarian based so it makes sense to have a vegetarian option along with it. We had a party of 8 and Jay Kim made it so much fun!!! The food was absolutely delicious. Everything was so fresh. One other option that would have been great to have would be fresh ginger at the sauce bar and mushrooms on the vegetable plate. We were all pleasantly pleased with our food. The ambiance is very nice, low light but more than enough to cook and enjoy each other's company. Jay Kim made sure we always had what we needed. The sauce bar was amazing, so many choices. I recommend making a few bowls, some for the broth and and some for dipping your cooked food. If you get any type of meat, also make a sauce to marinade the meat. You don't have to but it made a good difference. Meats are thinly sliced for quick cooking and again,so fresh. The price was worth the amount of food and the experience. There is an all you can eat option or an a la carte option where you just get one meat selection and a vegetable plate which was more than enough for us as a party of young ladies. This was a great first hot pot experience and I definitely recommend it, just make sure to ask for Jay Kim. I know you will enjoy it!!!“

“ABSOLUTELY phenomenal. If you’re even thinking about trying Ned’s New England Deck, just go! You won’t regret it. The owner, Steve, is so personable and you can tell he genuinely cares about his business. He made an effort to talk to us (even our 4-year-old), which was really sweet and made the whole experience feel more personal. I also loved how he hyped up his staff, you can tell they’re appreciated. The food though… wow. The brown butter lobster roll was seriously amazing! The soft, flavorful bread and the lobster was so buttery and sweet. I’ve had lobster rolls before (even at the beach), and this one honestly beats them. The fried fish melts in your mouth and the truffle fries are addicting. My family and I left so impressed. The food was incredible, and Steve’s kindness just made it even better. He even shared how to make one of their sauces at home, which was such a nice gesture. So again, thank you Steve and staff for an amazing dinner & becoming our go-to seafood spot. “What an experience! I came from Alabama on a work trip. My fellow employees and I were trying to find a seafood restaurant and stumbled upon this restaurant on a Wednesday. And boy did we hit the jackpot! The food was amazing first off. Second off, we had been wanting to do karaoke and there was a DJ! We sang at the table while we were eating and had such an amazing time. The atmosphere is phenomenal! It’s a signature dish that rivals the best we’ve ever had, bringing to mind the legendary Bo Ssam pork shoulder from David Chang’s Momofuku— bold, unforgettable, and expertly prepared. The Gormeh Sabzi, short rib stew with its delicious sour depth, was excellent but couldn’t quite match the lamb’s showstopping brilliance. Two very minor points. While the food and service are exceptional, the main dining room lighting would benefit from dimming. A water filtration water system could make a big difference as well. JOON has firmly secured its place as a must-visit dining destination for us. We can’t wait to return and explore more of the menu.“

More details: I’ve placed over the phone with no issue and have ordered using the kiosk. They securely pack the takeout. I’ve earned a reward through Toast, the ordering app. There’s plenty of space to eat-in, if you’d like. I haven’t had an issue with parking, it’s a strip / plaza lot shared with other businesses. Dishes I’ve tried: spicy chicken wonton, lo mein, Taiwan noodle with veggie, Szechuan beef, and La Zhi chicken.“
