The wagyu and toro sushi were incredibly fresh, buttery, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious—clearly top-tier quality. And the shrimp dumplings? Steamed to absolute perfection: tender, flavorful, and expertly made. Do not leave without trying the Green Bliss Roll—it’s a standout and an instant favorite. On top of the amazing food, the service is attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, making the entire experience even better. Honoo Ramen Bar delivers on every level—food, service, and vibe. “Found this place tucked away next to the CVS on Gallows Road and decided to give it a shot—I definitely didn’t regret it! The food was amazing, and the service was just as great. Zhou was our server, and he was fantastic. He grilled our food for us, and all of his recommendations were on point.
They were also running their happy hour special, which included all-you-can-eat, and it was such a great deal. Great food, great service, and an overall amazing experience. I highly recommend checking this place out!“

“Literally EVERYTHING on their menu is DELICIOUS! I Love the teriyaki chicken, the beef bulgogi, and their chicken pesto panini 🤤 They are also very very generous with the amount of food you get. For example their chicken panini has a HUGE piece of Chicken breast in it and the mozzarella cheese are HUGE and thick fresh slices. The word "skimpy" is unknown here 🤤 They have an AMAZING drink selection as well. Really love how many different types of Green Tea they have. If you have a chance to stop by or you're close by, I highly recommend you give it a try. They have outdoor seating with umbrellas.“

They cooked their food like poetry-eloquently constructed and fine-tuned. We fell in love with Vietnam food right now! The VK noodles with beef is the best of the best! “The chiken good! Yea, but. The Rose Tteok Bokki was good. Hold on thoug! The water was amazingg! Best water I’ve had of all time. This water tastes likes…. like silence finally speaking—clean, weightless, and impossibly alive against the tongue.
It moves through the mouth like a memory you didn’t know you had, something ancient and familiar, as if your body recognizes it before your mind does.

“My favorite and go-to Thai restaurant in Nova! I discovered it about a year ago and get take-out every month or few months for a cozy Friday night, and the food has been consistently great every time. They're generous with their portions, and they're also really accommodating with the little extra requests I make. My only complaint is how staggeringly expensive it is ($20 for pad thai, before extras, and you pay an addition amount for basic proteins). But, overall they're awesome!“

“I ordered the Pho for take out and it was done pretty quickly. It took about 15 minutes. When. I went to pick up the person there made sure to verify my name. The food itself was good. It was not how I expected it to be but was good nonetheless. The protein in it was cooked pretty nicely and tender. The herbs had some brown spots but we're still edible. I definitely would order here again to try another soup.“

The worst part was the noodles: not great but ok given that it’s a casual and fast spot; the noodles were almost exclusively short and there were few long ones, perhaps overcooked and they fell apart.“

About the food, I was ELATED to hear that bonchon had takoyaki on their menu cause it feels so rare to find. “We have been coming here for 15 years, and it is hands down our family’s absolute favorite restaurant in Old Town Alexandria.
Nan and his family consistently go above and beyond to provide a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
The food is exceptional and incredibly reliable. We highly recommend the Pad Thai, Singapore Noodles, Drunken Noodles, and Kung Pao Chicken. Their sushi is also a major highlight—always fresh and expertly made.
It’s rare to find a place where the quality of both the food and service remains this flawless for over a decade. Highly recommend!“

“Excellent sushi restaurant! We were in Vienna and craving sushi and found this gem. We were seated right away, greeted with a smile and had a lovely evening. We started off with the edamame and miso soup and salad. We were BLOWN away with how good everything was right off the bat! The house salad had a onion sauce on the top that was so good! Best house salad I’ve ever had at a sushi restaurant. Then we both had rolls that were amazing! Joanne was our waitress and she was so kind and efficient. She even provided us with recommendations and a great description of some of the dishes I asked about. We will definitely be back next time we are in Vienna! Thank you so much!“

“I ordered delivery bc I was sick. The food was delicious but the owner accidentally gave me the small tom yum soup instead of the larger tom yum with noodles and shrimp so the next day he delivered it to me! I was so happy!
