I wanted to like Spanish Diner since I'm a huge fan of Jaleo and of Jose Andres, but the food was so lacking in finesse and taste, even for a diner. Patatas bravas was drowning in tomato sauce (I could barely taste the potato or aoli) and the bacalao over eggplant and tomato sauce had little flavor. The ham and cheese was tasty, but nothing to say "Spain" about it...mediocre food accompanied by a hefty price tag will keep me from going back. I'm so sad that Jose Andres missed...read full review
Ask for the daily tasting menu! &40 - 4 courses and delicious! Sangria hour 3pm to close Sunday to Friday with great food and drink options.

The Spanish Diner offers a taste of Spain with its food and drinks. Standout dishes include white anchovies and chips, the delicious and authentic Patatas Bravas, Ensaladilla Ucraniana, Fried Cod with Manchego Pisto, and Chupito de Gazpacho. The grilled cheese sandwich with Spanish cheeses and sweet aioli is a popular choice. The chicken and rice is comfort food at its finest. The service is good and attentive, offering a pleasant slow eating experience. However, there can be issues with incorrect drink orders.
