Four of us stopped by Silver Diner in Bethesda just for milkshakes, and they were excellent. I ordered the Chunky Munky, and it was absolutely amazing—thick, creamy, and packed with banana and Oreo pieces in every sip. It was one of the best milkshakes I’ve had in a long time. Silver was not up to its usual high standards. Our table was very unstable causing coffee to spill. It was finally adjusted after about 20 minutes. The omelet was dry and the toast cold and hard - very difficult to bite. Hopefully, this was just a bad day in the kitchen.
Was great for a breakfast meeting in Bethesda. Not too packed. Quick service.
