“We love this restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious. I even dream about the Bacchus eggplant dip! ?The stuffed grape leaves are the best I’ve ever had. I also love the lamb kabob. Most pleasant, is the warm welcome and excellent service. If you happen to go on a Friday or Saturday night when there’s a belly dancer performing, it’s just the cherry on top, with a fun atmosphere as if all the guests are family in one big party.“

“I came in here for my lunch break. Although the food was a little bit pricey it was worth it. I got the salmon kabob with double rice and I wasn't disappointed. Salmon was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The roasted red tomatoes and onions were cooked perfect as well. The drink Kevita I got with it was perfect. Would definitely recommend this place to others.“

“As much as I love the local staples like Ledos, Stained Glass, etc... this is hands down my favorite pizza spot in Mo Co and probably the DMV. It also has the best cheesesteak in Bethesda for sure, despite the claims of Peter's Carryout a few blocks over. I've tried other sandwiches here and they're all very good, but for the past couple years I've religiously stuck to either my steak and cheese + fries or a large double pepperoni.
After talking with the owner, he credits the halal ingredients for the taste which serves my pork restriction perfectly. To get an idea of it, I would say the pizza is like a much higher quality version Pizza Boli's style if that makes sense. There was a time that the pizza was slightly overdone and it was STILL pretty delicious.
My second favorite pizza place in the area is coincidentally around the corner. M & N's, another phenomenal halal spot. But they're a bit more expensive and their sandwiches are nowhere near as good as Aden. Out of the dozen restaurants focusing on pizza in downtown Bethesda, these two are the kings in my opinion.
Highly recommend!
Vegetarian options: Lots of non-meat options ranging from the pizza to falafel, mozzarella sticks, etc.
Dietary restrictions: Halal!“

“Firstly, I’m not sure why there are so many bad reviews for this establishment. I have been eating here for over 15 years now and this is hands down the best place to eat in the food court. It takes 10-15 minutes on an average for the kebabs because they’re made to order and not just microwaved like many other restaurants that have come and gone. Try the Indian restaurant next to Chick Filet and you’ll know. You get chick peas, rice, fresh salad and a freshly baked naan bread with the order. The staff is incredibly courteous and polite. My go to place for lunch!“

“I was looking forward to eating at Albi having lived in the Middle East. Delicious modern take on Arabic staples. Lamb kebab was delicious. In fact everything was gorgeous. The disappointing thing is the acoustics. I do not have hearing problems. However, we had to shout all night and couldn’t hear the waiter or the sommelier which wasn’t much fun as talking to the staff about the food and wine is usually enjoyable. The tables are just that bit too wide to enable you to chat to the person opposite without shouting and leaning. It was just all wrong. It’s a shame as obviously you eat “family style” but I found it quite stressful. It’s a very nice dining room but too many hard surfaces to make it comfortable. I felt like I was in a cafeteria. I recommend going in a twosome and sitting next to each other so that you can chat whilst enjoying the food. Perhaps opposite the fire.“

“I had a fantastic experience at Grill Kabob! The food is consistently top-notch, with the chicken and lamb combo being my favorite. The flavors are rich, and the ingredients are clearly of high quality. My only critique is that the cashier didn't seem particularly happy.“

“We were treated like favored relatives by JAD and his family. From the delicious artichoke appetizer to the delectable lentil soup, impressive entrees and generous portions of lamb shank and mixed grill platters. Succumbed to the varied baklava pastries that we took home as a wonderful memory. Can’t wait to return! A rare jewel in Falls Church Va.“

“I am a total hummus snob. You can ask my friends. I only eat hummus from restaurants because they seem to be the only ones that can make it right and with the consistency that is smooth and a little thinner. Every store bought hummus I have tried has been a thick paste and it doesn’t even feel like hummus. Until now. I am a total convert and very excited. Consistency is everything in hummus and Little Sesame has figured out how to do it and put it into a container that is sold at a store. Kudos. I love it.“

“We visited this cozy little restaurant tonight for the first time. Excellent food and service. The people who work here are very friendly. Very diverse menu. They specialize in Yemeni and Ethiopian food. We shared the vegetarian platter, which is Ethiopian. We also shared a pot of wonderful Middle Eastern tea, boiled with milk, cardamon, sugar, and maybe some saffron. We will be back.“

“The sweetest ladies at the counter. Food is exactly what you expect from an establishment of this caliber: fresh, on point, authentic enough. Just a couple of things that throw me off a bit: sticky tables (can’t stand those) and salad from a fridge (I believe veg salad should be room temp if served with hot food on the sale plate, but that might be just me).
Overall: definitely recommend if you’re around“

“We got a comb III, a kobide and a bareh with rice, fresh bread and a delicious yogurt. Portion was big. Both kebabs were good and delicious. Bread was fantastic, and yogurt was good.
We also got a kashk o bademjan, the taste was not good, I’m fan of kashk o bademjan and that was not my first time try this dish. It seems the kashk was not very fresh.
Serve was good, we arrived very late around 9pm and they got our order.“

“The gentleman at the counter had wonderful customer service. We paid for our food even brought it to the table, which was very nice. It felt like fine dining, he gave us a bit of conversation and seem like such a pleasant gentlemen. I enjoyed the food. It was amazing. I eat every drop and the baklava ice cream with everything took a friend for the first time. My friend said he enjoyed it, and we will definitely be back again. I recommend this place highly if you love Greek food and gyros.“

“I'll be honest, I'm a California food snob. I've struggled to find affordable, consistently delicious food in DC and miss spaces that are clearly family owned where the food is made with love. I have found that at Green Almond Pantry.
My partner and I have made a routine of going every weekend and every single thing we have tried has been fantastic. I remembered to take a picture of the foccacia after I had already quickly inhaled half. The breakfast sandwiches were to die for. Each frittata has been mouth watering. I'll try and remember to take some photos next time I go.
Not the quickest option as they carefully heat and create each dish, but you can grab a coffee or boba from the spot next door while you wait.“

“AMAZING FOOD!! Me and my family went there two days ago and everything was just perfect. We had chicken, lamb, and beef kabob and it all just tasted amazing. “Brought my mom here for lunch. The food was amazing! Looked amazing too. I had to look at it for a little longer before started eating. Delicious as well! I had the boneless chicken and koobideh (ground beef Persian style) platter with rice and salad. Easy to tell it was all healthy and not drenched in oil. Best part was that the employees were all polite and courteous and happy to be there for us. They had seating outside which made it perfect for a lunch date with mom.“

“Dietary restrictions: Per their website, all food is halal
Kid-friendliness: My husband and I went to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I saw a family with kids there (under the age of 12). I personally would not recommend bringing kids and I wouldn't bring my own until they were late teenagers. The atmosphere and food options are not really kid friendly“
