The Salt Line Reviews
Had an excellently prepared meal. Shared a huge tray of raw oysters, next was the best beet salad I have ever enjoyed, followed by a delightful Arctic Char (wish there were more snowpeas) paired with a dry white from Portugal. Sorbet and coffee for dessert. Our food server was Diana, provided very good service. Suggest you ask to sit in her section when you next visit the restaurant.
The crab dip is AMAZING!!!! This is a must get appetizer. The fried shrimp roll was okay and the fries were over cooked. Overall beautiful aesthetic and good service!
I love The Salt Line's menu and have a hard time narrowing down what I want! Had the fried artichokes as an appetizer and bucatini with clams as a main. Absolutely delicious! Our waitress let me know my dish might be spicy so I asked for light spice and it was perfect. My husband adored his lobster roll too. The Salt Line is a beautiful restaurant located in Bethesda, Maryland, known for its appealing decor and comfortable ambiance. Guests appreciate the attentive and friendly service, with many praising staff members like Andrew and Tsion for their exceptional hospitality. The menu features a variety of dishes, with highlights including the warm and fluffy Parker House rolls, tasty clam chowder, and the excellent spicy fried shrimp roll. The pimento crab dip is also recommended for its rich flavors. However, some dishes have received mixed reviews; local MD raw oysters were considered bland, and the stuffies were deemed too salty.
While many diners enjoy the food, some have found it inconsistent, especially regarding the value for lunch. The restaurant offers paid street parking and is easily accessible. Overall, The Salt Line is a place where great people work, and while the food may vary, the service and atmosphere contribute to a generally positive dining experience.
