“Wife and I had a day date without the kids and started with brunch at City Diner, based on online reviews. Had never been there before but I am extremely happy that we followed online advice. Wife ordered the French toast with side of grits while I had the pancakes with side of home fries. Everything was amazing, even for my wife, who is very sensitive to salty food; all of our grub was just right. I'd say the best item was the French toast, followed closely by the home fries (which included peppers and onions). Coffee was also excellent. We finished off brunch with slices of red velvet cake and cheesecake, also both amazing. Cheesecake was the perfect sweetness level, not overdone like many restaurants make it.Service was very friendly and prices lower than any comparable place near us (Ballston). Highly recommend!“

Lots of options for breakfast, plenty of space to seat (get a booth!) and attentive service (they will make sure there's always plenty of coffee in your mug!). “?Got the Picante bowl, home fries and the fruity pebbles french toast. The bowl Couldn't complain about a single thing. The picante bowl was large, nicely proportioned with the ingredients. Our server Veronica was excellent. She was sharp and thorough with everything she did and even though it was busy and she apologized a few times for the wait for the food (which still wasn't extremely long) we told her it was Well worth it and we'll be back. “Had a delicious lunch today at Beeliner Diner. Great burgers with waffle fries. I usually don’t like waffle fries but these had a seasoning on them and I really enjoyed them. Friend got the Cobb salad and she loved it. Manager greeted us, thanked us for coming and did their menu will be expanding. They’ve done a great job on remodeling the space! It’s a breath of fresh air. we’ll definitely go back.“

“I was visiting Bethesda with the family and wanted something we don't have in central Illinois. After searching Google for help, I came across Tastee Diner, and it didn't disappoint. My wife had liver and onions, which she said was amazing. I went with the seafood platter. The oysters were good, as well as the flounder, clams, and shrimp. Kids ate breakfast food, and they were content, and its hard to satisfy all three of them. I would recommend this place to anyone. Quiet place, and the staff was awesome. 84 dollars for 6 people to eat can't beat it.“

“We went to the Springfield location of Bob & Edith's Diner for breakfast. They have these big screen TVs that play the specials on a loop. We were interested in the Homemade Chip Beef but were dismayed to find out it was only available at the newly opened Manassas location. We were told that the loop they play of the specials is used in all locations. They should make it clear that the Homemade Chip Beef is only available at the Manassas location. Also, the design of the interior, with all the stainless steel and tiles, makes it very noisy. If your hearing is sensitive or you wear hearing aids just a heads up. Overall the food and service are great which is why we keep coming back.“
