Hubby and I ate at the Diner last night ( September 5) for the first time. We live in Maryland,and decided we will patronize the Executive Diner again , and again. Appetizers were wonderful,as was the salad,and entrees. Had to bring some home because of the generous servings! This is our new “ go to”
I absolutely love this local gem of a diner. The prices are reasonable for the serving sizes and everything tastes great. Don't get me started on those grits because I'll start to drool. The only reason why I would not give this place five stars is because your server will likely go MIA. Many times I've never had a refill (even on water) because they come back to your table so few times. One time I sat and waited close to 20 minutes just for the bill! A good, solid local diner that consistently delivers tasty, good-quality food. The menu has a great variety of choices, portions are generous, and the staff are friendly and welcoming.
We ordered the pancakes, and a word of warning: they are seriously large! Despite their size, they were surprisingly light and fluffy, so they didn’t feel as heavy as you might expect. The corned beef hash was also very tasty and, once again, a generous portion.
