“The food was really good seasoning wise but I like my noodles a little less al dente to hit the perfect mouth feel. My sister did however, really enjoyed the vegetarian option. That being said I will still definitely be back! At the end of the day the customer service was so excellent here it was the real star. I had never been to this particular restaurant and Danny was such a help that he helped take all the guess work out. He was also so very caring and came to check on us and other customers in the store which is definitely not your typical casual dining experience. It’s people like these who give us hope in the service industry/humanity again! In other news, the industrial and rather breezy—on a hot day—atmosphere of this place was great and it was ULTRA clean. “I am visiting DC from the midwest, but I was unexpectedly welcomed home to Egypt for lunch in Dupont Circle. You will find legitimate Egyptian street/comfort food and the staff display true Middle Eastern hospitality & service very rare in America. The music (classic Arabic songs of love and heartbreak lol) and hearing the Egyptian dialect specifically completed the experience.“

“Panjshir is one of our favorite restaurants. For years, we used to regularly go to their Vienna location but after it closed and we moved further out, it was a challenge to go to the Falls Church restaurant. With that said, we have missed their delicious food so we decided to brave the traffic and go. Even after all these years we were not disappointed. The quality and consistency of the food is exactly the same. I'm a vegetarian and their vegetarian offerings from kadu chalow to seib, plus several others are a vegetarian's delight. Their aush soup was delicious. My husband ordered an appetizer of bulanee kachalu and enjoyed every single bite of these fried potato and ground beef turnovers.

“Not sure if it was the rain outside or just the chef’s touch, but the soup today felt very comforting and filling today. The egg rolls were good and our beef pho was delicious. The regular soup is smaller compared to other pho places we’ve been to however it was just enough and we left satisfied. If you like larger portions, I recommend getting a large. Service was ok and it took a while to get our check. But overall great viet food“

Oddly enough the restaurant did not seem that full because we were there early. The hostess was a little snarky. Service was good. Food was Excellent which saved the family evening. “This place is awesome. 10 years ago, I wrote an email to Cane’s begging them to open up some locations in the DC area — and they finally did. Chicken tenders are incredible, the french fries are crispy and delicious, and the Texas Toast offers a delicate softness grounded by a resounding crunch. And don’t even get me started on the sauce, there’s nothing like it in any other fast food joint on this planet. It’s amazing. Great service too.“
