“Absolutely love Shinwari Namak Mandi! This restaurant truly captures the essence of Pakistani cuisine. The Kabuli pulao is incredibly flavorful, and the chicken and mutton karahi are simply divine. The authenticity of the dishes is unmatched, making it a go-to spot in Virginia for anyone craving genuine Pakistani flavors. The service is excellent, and the ambiance adds to the overall dining experience. Highly recommend trying their delicious offerings!“
“We went here after a while in Ramadan. The food was absolutely delicious! I would definitely go here again! The staff is so friendly and efficient. I love this family-run restaurant! They also had a Maghrib prayer arrangement for both men and women who wanted to pray. Overall a good and positive experience.“
“This restaurant delivers what matters most. Great food and great service. The food is fresh and flavorful. There is a wide selection! I have just opted to go down the menu everything is good. And the front end staff is patient, friendly and aims to please. Well worth the ride for excellent take-out!“
“Their service is unparalleled, surpassing all others. The management is top-notch, providing excellence in every aspect. The customer service is exceptional, creating a friendly and welcoming environment. And let's not forget about their food - it's a symphony of flavors, each bite a work of art. The taste is simply exquisite, leaving you craving for more.“
“This was SO GOOD! I have been exploring all over the city today and this hit the spot. I have to make a return trip next time I am in DC. Service was fast and the service was very friendly. If you are a local or just passing through I cannot find a single thing to complain about this one. Best saag paneer I have had in a long time.Vegetarian options: I had the Saag Paneer, which was delicious. I did not see anything vegan, though, if that is a concern.“
“The food is so soo delicious????. The best Indian taste food I have ever ate in the United States ??. I love this place the environment is very calm and peaceful very good place with slow music songs?. Every visit of mine to Washington DC I always go to this place with my husband ?. Also the workers are very polite and helpful. I recommend others to visit this best food place in Washington DC.?“
“You absolutely must order the Tandoori Naan. It is phenomenal. Best and freshest naan I have had in a long long long time. They make it fresh to order in a legit tandoori oven. I’m so impressed. We came here because we had a bike flat tire and stopped at the trek store next door. What a gem. Had Seekh chicken Kabab wrap (fresh naan, so warm and chick n kebab with an awesome spice mix. Fresh veggies and some sort of yogurt sauce) and then the goat curry for $18 includes naan and blew us out of the water. So yummy. If I’m back in the neighborhood I will return but be warned you have to wait for your naan since it’s made to order so be prepared to wait!Be prepared for a hole in the wall but the clerk was very nice.“
“I stopped in for the first time and tried two street food dishes, chole bhature and tandori fish. Like others have mentioned, there's a buffet table, but it's not like a typical buffet. I think commonly ordered food is kept there and they'll dish it up. My chickpeas might have been from there but the fried bread that came with it was fresh and delicious. The tandoori fish was mehhh. It turned out to be tilapia so that explains it.I ordered an iced tea, I would have needed to prompt for a refill, but I was full. The decore is nice and there's Indian music/music video playing which I thought was fun.I will 100% go back.“
“We ordered thru Uber eats and amazed to see the amount of food we got. We ordered naan, samosa, butter chicken and vegetable biryani. All of them are delicious, tasty, and mouth-watering. I do love the samosa dipping sauce, it’s superb. First time tried Pakistani food and amazed with it! For sure I will try to visit the restaurant one day if I visit Springfield again and maybe try the buffet.“
“For $12 you get unlimited food !! That's the bottom line here! Is it wonderful food ? Incredible food? Amazing food? No, it's Pakistani food lol ( I love Pakistani food!) I just meant with my joke that it's just food ! Nothing is so special here other than the value , the price and the fresh bread you get! The staff also is nice and refilling the buffet. I loved it when they asked to bring fresh bread! They do ask you first and then bring it! Their samosa was actually so good!! They had multiple good items but the chicken tikka was bone in , I like to eat without any barriers lol those bones were working like a barrier between me and the next plate! They have some sweets to try , not on the buffet tho . Ambiance is nothing fancy and a little bit old but it feels authentic! I was told to try their butter chicken plate from the menu but I couldn't try it this visit! Maybe you will ;) As I started, will I drive from a long distance to try it? No Can't wait to go there again soon? No I can definitely wait! lol Will I ever be there again? Yes and hopefully multiple times! Try it, vote for the review , message me, or compliment me with any comment or question, and don't forget to ... Pray for me ;)“
“After a long trip in the capital region we just checked in, let’s see how the food is.Just now done with starterThe chicken cabab was awsome. So delicious.WowThe food is so good. Awesome taste, excellent service. Kids loved the butter chicken, paneer kadhai. All delicious. Will love to come again definitely again.“
“This is the definition of a hole in the wall, it's a little dirty here and there, the service is somewhat questionable but overall effective.Their lamb chops and karaihi (kadhai) are always great and food is seldom lacking in flavor. It's the seating and the atmosphere that suck.Now... This isn't cheap food by any means. But the atmosphere makes it feel cheap. But one full order of karaihi and lamb chops will set you back atleast 70 bucks but will keep you fed for a full day or two.Vegetarian options: There are some vegetarian options, and are only about 2 to 3 in number but are very good and well made. However if you don't like butter or can't have butter I would ask what they used as a fat in the dish itself.“
“I did a take out of their delicious Aloo and piyaz pakoras for our Iftari a week or so ago. The packaging was great which included a generous amount of their tasty green chutney. I glanced at their menu main items and their prices seemed high. Manager/owner and helper were polite and friendly. Great efficient service. Good restaurant atmosphere. I wish them success with their new desi restaurant.“
