Pretty decent food, very reasonable prices
What a hidden gem in Fairfax! We absolutely loved Kelly’s Oyster House & Bar. The building itself has so much character and gives you that cozy, old-school neighborhood feel that is getting harder and harder to find.

Kelly's Oyster House and Bar offers amazing and fresh oysters, with a vast selection for aficionados. The food is wonderful, delicious, and tasty, featuring dishes like fried calamari, clam chowder soup, hush puppies, crab cakes, trout, shrimp, sausages paste, and mussels. The limoncello cake is also wonderful. Portions are generally generous and the prices are reasonable for the area, offering good value.
The atmosphere is relaxed, very social, and clean, decorated as expected for a seafood bar. The service is amazing, exceptional, friendly, and attentive. The bar menu rocks, featuring very good Bloody Mary’s and Orange crushes. Happy hour includes $1 oysters on Sundays. While a bit expensive for some, it is a highly recommended spot for a special event or a nice afternoon, with plenty of parking available around back.
