“Really enjoyed our meal here! The service is INCREDIBLE. Unbelievably friendly staff. Our food was a little slow to come out, but without even having to bring it to their attention, they apologized and comped us 2 drinks. When the food did arrive, it was absolutely delicious. The sliders were juicy, and if you get them, make sure you order the fries because the seasoning is divine. Also really loved the fried green tomatoes! We had a lovely time!“

“We were absolutely thrilled to work with Jess at Moreland’s Tavern for our wedding rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks. Jess was fantastic from start to finish, helping us create the perfect event and menu while staying within our budget. The upstairs of the restaurant was set up beautifully for our party, complete with a photo slideshow of us playing on the TVs, which added a nice personal touch. The dinner was delicious, and our rehearsal dinner guests couldn’t stop talking about how amazing the roasted chicken was! After the sit-down dinner, Jess and her team seamlessly transitioned the space into a more casual area where the rest of our guests could mix and mingle, complete with an open bar and light snacks. The bartenders, Jess and Max, were absolute pros—our guests certainly kept them busy and they did an amazing job keeping us and everyone happy throughout the night. Jess and the team at Moreland’s Tavern made our rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks unforgettable. As our neighbors up the street, we are so glad Moreland’s was a part of our wedding weekend as a favorite neighborhood spot we can revisit again and again. “Great pub for watching NFL, NCAA, Soccer any sport! Great staff bar tenders, for bar food not bad. The beer is cold! Watched several games here, always a good time, outside seating, and also has a TV.“

“I pulled up for Sip, Sing & Crank w/ DJ Noris and had a great time. I had a gorgeous bartender deliver great service with a smile and Big Karl was mad cool. There was some talented singers in the building too so I really enjoyed hearing them sing. I love good so Marte getting 5 stars juat for that.

“I went at noon and it was not crowded at all, and it was quiet, a big bonus for me these days. No loud music and people shouting in order to converse over it. The food was very good, very fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant for Asian fusion cuisine and sushi.“

“I recently spent a week in Washington, DC, with 38 colleagues from our agency. Each evening after work, many of us explored some great spots around the city, like Old Ebbitt, The Hamilton, Joe’s Seafood, Le Diplomate, and Off The Record. While those places were all impressive, I found myself returning every night to Capitano Restaurant at the Canopy Hilton on The Wharf.

The people, not just the food or atmosphere, were what kept me coming back. I enjoyed one of the friendliest and most welcoming vacation experiences, thanks to the people at Capitano. Every visit seemed more like hanging out with friends than just going out to eat, and every discussion felt genuine. Meeting new people and having deep conversations was also made easier by the laid-back atmosphere, which eliminated the bustle and commotion that are often present in crowded restaurants and bars.

Nights like that just show you that great service is all about the people. The crew over at Capitano was the main reason I couldn't wait to swing by every night.
