Reliable takeout option in Dupont. They're running operations out of Kramers, allowing you to grab a meal while browsing for your next book. The standout item is the fried chicken sandwich--thick, juicy, and a real tasty treat. The Feddy cheesesteak is also noteworthy, not to mention enormous. Both sandwiches provided a satisfying fill. Kramers, every time I'm in Washington I have to visit Kramers in Dupont Circle. This bookstore has it all, an indie outpost that manages to survive when the big guys are folding, a destination eatery, an inviting bar with an accomplished event space....and don't forget all the regular and engineered coffee. Delicious casual eats with a nice menu that everyone will be able to find something they want to try. It does get crowded on the weekend so use the Open table app to easily book a table. Make sure to try the Italian soda we did the blueberry / vanilla sans alcohol and it is the most delicious thing!
