Great local sandwich place. Staff are the best!
My wife and I visited here several times during our trip to Washington DC for breakfast.
We both enjoyed the coffee and the relaxing atmosphere.
Two times I had ham and cheese omelets, and one time my wife had a sausage egg and cheese sandwich on sourdough bread. The meals were very delicious and you can see them preparing the meals too.
The dining room was very clean and quiet enough for conversation.

This cafe was across the street from my hotel, so I selected it for breakfast before I left town. I walked, but noticed there is street parking, but read no signs of there are any restrictions or cost. I read the reviews and must say, they were far from my experience. I arrived about 820am, so it wasn't very busy. A variety of things are sold (see others' pictures of menu) for breakfast and lunch. They have a large variety of drinks along the refrigerated wall.
