This place has a lot of potential, cute views and a nice rooftop but holy hell the service is horrible. The bartender took 15+ minutes to give us a beer. She was clearly favoring other customers and not working with any sense of urgency. If this was any other bar that would never fly. If I was the manager I would closely monitor the level of service provided. Also it was completely dead while we were here and she still could not juggle 3 customers.
We thought this would be a little hidden gem as it was close to our hotel and liked the idea of a rooftop bar. The view was nothing exciting. Just a bunch of buildings. The food was overpriced for the quality. My son ordered 3 crabcakes for $21. Thinking they were going to be actual breaded and fried cakes they were not... Just squishy doughy balls. CityBar is a "Seasonal bar", but they don't post what seasons, or when they are open/closed in their site or google. As a traveller this was quite annoying as it was closed but nothing told me they were except the elevator button didn't work for it. If you're really planning on going here, call first.
