I was heading to an appointment but I could smell the spices in the air. This was a major surprise. Quick service and flavorful food, with a fusion of Habesha and American cuisine. Truly a hidden gem in Silver Spring!!
Wonderful staff (including the wagon) and delicious breakfast after a night at the Fillmore. Will be our post-show spot every time we come to Silver Spring.
The food is delicious. I have had the breakfast wrap and Awaze tibs panini. The portions are good, and the quality is great. The customer service was amazing. They were friendly and patient while I was trying to decide what I wanted. The prices are pretty fair. I have gone twice and intend on going back soon.

The attentive owner, Ms. Beth, is a top tier chef, and the staff carry her vibe, ensuring you don't leave in a bad mood. The food is absolutely fresh and very tasty. A visit to this cafe is highly recommended for a satisfying breakfast or a quick lunch experience. While the cafe can be a little difficult to see from Colesville, it is worth searching out for its lovely atmosphere and flavorful offerings.
